Love this Storyline
The author mentions she has a sarcastic humor that “isn’t for everybody”, but It certainly is for me! This story made me laugh so often it was hard to remember I started reading it because it was a “supernatural” book instead of a “comedy” book. I loved all sides of it, the comedy, the spooky, the family, the friendships, the relationships, everything. I’m glad I stumbled upon it and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Good read
This was a good start to a series. Although I think Aisling could have cut back on the whining but I will read the next book to make sure.

Well now
So I started this book awhile ago, but stoped fairly quick ( I wasn't real sure I was going to get into it with all the "death" and all), I started a book about a character named Luna who referenced these characters so I thought I should get familiar with them; I'm so glad I did because I just absolutely fell in love with them all. The story is topsy turvy, never knowing what was going to happen, sucked me in and I really really enjoyed it; can't wait for the next book. Great job, great book.

Interesting plot.
As usual, well written. But I'm not a fan of the reapers. The witches and the mystic caravan, those are a big yes. But the Grimlocks are essentially doing a job their family has done for centuries, like middlemen with no knowledge of the end product. They don't know if what they do is good, bad, or even really necessary. They just do the job and trust in a correct outcome for the souls they reap. It's not enough to build a fulfilling life. In my opinion, it's like being chased by debt collectors when you don't owe any money. And the idea that souls are shipped around to various hereafters on such arbitrary whims as they went to confession and did the penance makes death the ultimate Unfair Call by someone. So I only read the Grim books when I'm short of other reading material because I can't buy the premise and the details are vague and unsatisfactory. And if I can't buy in, even for the time it takes to read the book, it makes the stories less enjoyable. However, your mileage may vary.

Grim Tidings
It was great reading how Aisling's story started. It was interesting reading how she met Griffin. The ending was even more interesting!

Got potential
I have read quite a few of this authors series. This one has potential as taking a slightly different subject matter for the genre. I like the way she references characters in other series it ties everything together but each of them are stand alone. However, in this series once again the main characters are moody cop and mouthy girl who finally oget it together - it’s getting repetitive. Also the repeated use of certain phrases such ‘your not the boss of me’ is now irritating. However, that being said I enjoyed the book and have already downloaded number 2.

Kind of funny, interesting enough read
This was an interesting book. The plot was good and well fleshed out, the dynamics of the characters in the family setting was good. The characters were fleshed out and believable. It was an interesting read and fairly enjoyable. I found it all a bit odd but it was good though. Not convinced I want to carry on the series but I may sate my curiousity eventually.

Very enjoyable - dark subject but lightly well and with humour
I enjoyed this book. The main character, Aisling, is funny and strong. Her brothers and father are all protective but she joins the family business, transporting souls to the afterlife, and has an interesting journey along the way.The characters are strong and all work together. I think it would be interesting for future books to focus on her relationship with each of the brothers in turn. There was some interaction with each of them in this book but a focus on each would be great.Amy only criticism is that I felt the villain was not developed enough. I felt there an poo of have been 2 or 3 run-ins with them before the final confrontation.Looking forward to the next one :-)D x

Satisfyingly snarky
The Grimlocks are not your typical family. Aisling starts at the family business finally but literally trips over a dead body. Snarky, sarcastic humour.

Brilliantly done
I have read the witches, and a couple of the covenant books, so thought I'd give this one a try. Wasn't disappointed at all, not as sarcastic as the others, but Aisling is brilliant, so are her brothers. It's funny, and witty, well worth a go. Can't wait till the next one, (can you please write a bit faster).
