Hyperkin Hall Effect Joystick Replacement (GameCube Style) for N64

Just installed into my N64 remote, it was an easy swap, all connections fit and so far it works great. Quality is good. Nice smooth movements on game play.

I knew my ancient N64 controller with the busted control stick was worth holding onto after all this time, even while we had long replaced it with Hori Minipads and Minipad style controllers, and the change feels perfectly seamless! You'll be getting all the comfort and superior functionality and durability of a Gamecube style stick, and it even retains the height of the original stick, so there's no need to adjust to any changes. The form factor feels immaculate and installation was smooth as silk, as Hyperkin has an installation tutorial video on their youtube channel, the only thing that took me a while was giving my blue controller a good cleaning!

This was super easy to install and it works beautifully. Nothing bad to say at all. I ordered 7 more for the rest of the controllers. Great price! Great replacement.

This is it! All other joy replacements are actual junk. It took me 3 other fails before finding this one. Trust! Buy this and you won’t be disappointed. I’m a 46 year old dude who always bought new old stock controllers and this is your solution to fixing the old joys. Don’t hesitate.

Replaced my worn out N64 joystick on my original Nintendo controller with this one and it works great. I bought some other off brand controllers as well and I prefer this joystick over the those. The feel is nice and seems like it has more control.

Benchmark values are good. In the live range view of the benchmark tool you can smoothly move the cursor, no jitter or deadzone issues. I could aim in Goldeneye. These will feel different than an original N64 joystick module, but that is to be expected, it's a different style of stick. As long as you don't strip the screws on your old N64 controller, these are an easy install.

It works smoothish, but the constant clicking sound when it moves towards the top half ruins it for my. It sounds like hitting metal and it and I don't want to even use it because the noise because it ruins the gameplay for me.

Sensitivity is heightened it seems. Functionally it works good. However with standard semi rough play, it seems clicky. Like it depressed a bit when using it.. leading to a loose cheap feel. Also after 4 hours of game play, there was a ton of plastic dust all around the stick from plastic rubbing off on the hexagon stops. And has visible wear marks on it. Really wish we could still get oem stick. But this seems OK to get you going. I can see how people are frustrated with sensitivity after. Its ramp up from slow movements to fast is quick.

Amazing. Probably not as good as a perfect N64 stick, but you can't buy those, so this is as good as it gets!

Queda bien, la instalación es algo sencilla, lo complica poco si el control es viejo y la limpieza. Falta probarlo para ver qué tal jala.

Excellent produit dans un beau packaging. Facile à remplacer. L'ergonomie est incomparable à la version classique de N64 : beaucoup plus fluide, précis et confortable grâce à un plastique plus tendre et plus grand.

Smooth operation and well made, but unfortunately the stick has far too much sensitivity. No good for fps games or those that need finer control.
