The packaging was great! The light box comes inside a protective sleeve, which is inside a box, then inside an Amazon box. Upon opening everything, there's a protective sleeve over the light box which i'm keeping for when I store it, or not in use; and the actual light box 'box ' that it came in is reasonably sturdy and the light fits in it so well, that i'm using that box, also, for storing the light (in its sleeve) when not in use. Two clips came with it, which are your every day office clips, and are a novel idea for keeping your work in place over the light. REMEMBER: there is NOT a wall plug for the USB cord. So unless you have an extra one (who doesn't these days?!?) the cord doesn't fit into a wall outlet directly, you need to either plug it into a portable charger or your laptop, or something similar. I read some reviews that said they were surprised the wall plug wasn't included..... it says so in the description that its not included. The touch point button to turn it on/off is very sensitive. I barely touch it and it came on, touch it again and it gets a little brighter, then again to its brightest; touch it once more and it goes off. Seems very bright and will be good to work my Diamond Painting. I'm giving it 5 stars for now as it seems to be what it says and the customer service was great! I've never had an actual vendor reach out to be sure i rec'd the package alright and that everything was in order. So i was impressed with that, as well. So, i'm still waiting for my Diamond Painting to show up, seems like forever, and when i actually use the light, I'll update this review if i find that anything has changed.

The media could not be loaded.  Arrived within two days. Well packaged and protected. The pad is a bit larger than the standard A4 lightpad as well as a bit thicker. The thickness makes it less flexible(which is a good thing!) and more durable. It came with standard instructions which are easy to understand. The power cord is a standard USB/Micro USB and is long enough to reach an outlet without problems. You do need to supply your own 5v AC adapter, 5volt, not 9v or 12v. I've also tested this with my power pack for my phone and it works just fine which makes this useable where ever I go. As with any device that uses a micro USB, it is recommended that it be unplugged from the power end as opposed to the lights itself to avoid wear and tear on the port. There are two binder clips included which makes it easy to secure your work to the lightpad. The light it self has three levels of illumination, changeable with a touch of a button, and is more of a blue/white hue where my first lightpad has more of a yellow hue. This makes a difference when using the pad for working on diamond paintings, it illuminates the symbols much better. I will also be using this for sketching designs for my other hobbies, which makes it an excellent value for me.

Ok so this is lightpad purchase number 2 so far it still works like a charm I had even spilled a drink on it and still works!!! The 1st lightpad did not last me very long 1st lightpad broke within a few month 2nd lightpad ive had over a year !!

I wanted to use this with watercolor paper. It isn't even close to bright enough to see lines, even black ones, through watercolor paper. I've tried varying brands (cheaper watercolor paper is less dense) and nothing that holds pigment for watercolor works with this light box. I have used this pad for various other projects and it works best in pitch black. On the brightest setting, I can see through 100 pound paper if put the paper almost up to my face. If you want to trace things on normal paper, or low test paper, this is the pad for you. If not, get something brighter.

I have had this product for the past few days and have been using it on my current dp wip’s. It’s sturdy and doesn’t slip on my desk and has a chord long enough where it isn’t taught while I’m working. Any questions I had I was able to contact the seller and they got back to me fast with a helpful response. The three light settings are good choices, since this light pad doesn’t have a range of light, the brightness of the three settings is actually helpful for you whether your an early morning dp-er, a mid day dp-we, or a late night dp-er, this has worked great for me!

I love this light board. Works fantastic when I’m doing my diamond paintings. I wouldn’t be able to do it without this light board. As it does say that there is no power cord that goes directly into the wall socket. It would be nice if the manufacturers would include one. That’s the only drawback I see. You have to plug it into your phone charger or the computer to power it up. The nice thing is it’s very thin and light weight. when I’m finished with it I put it in the protective foam padding that it came with and slide it between the wall and bookcase out of the way. No way to step or drop anything on it.

Wish I’d bought one sooner. Finding it so good for my diamond painting, especially when the numbers, letters don’t stand out well enough to see without good light. The only drawback is I sometimes catch the square which is the light brightness selection, so sometimes I turn it the light off. Also if I forget to unplug it, it stays on standby. However, I am really pleased with it and it’s great for the price.

works so great makes it easier to read the legend on the picture. the 3 settings are useful as well. did 2 pictures without it and it was hard to read some of the legends, once I received the light table it made working on the pictures so much easier

I recommend to everyone who does Diamond Painting. This is the best thing I have bought since I started Diamond Painting. Everyone buy one you won’t be sorry. It help with keeping your rows straight because you can see the symbols so clearly, especially the darker symbols and colours on your canvas. BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY or you’ll regret it. Not to mention it is so much easier on your eyes, it stops the straining of your eyes to see the symbols and is very helpful at showing you where you missed a diamond as you reach completion of your piece.

J'utilise ce transilluminateur pour faire de la peinture par numéro à diamants (diamond dotz) et c'est très utile pour mieux voir le dessin en fonction de l'éclairage disponible dans la pièce. Il est très léger et fonctionne très bien. Les 3 intensité de lumière sont très pratiques en fonction de l'éclairage ambiant. Bref je suis très contente de mon achat.

It's super light, thin and the 3 levels of brightness are perfect. I love it!!
