So worth it. I can’t live without this
great diaper pail. It does exactly what it says it's gonna do. Keeps smells in the bin, it's easy to use, and I love that you can use any ol' garbage bag in the bin. Overall, I would totally recommend this bin to parents. The only downside is that it's a bit small so you do have to change the bag every couple days and if you cheat and keep pushing the diapers down, it can be difficult to pull the bag out of the bin. But, really, changing a bin every couple of days is no problem especially if it keeps smells in. If you're wondering whether you should invest, for the value, ease, and smell factor, I highly recommend you purchase.

I use regular grocery bags; no smells leak through at all.
Wasn't even going to get a diaper bin and now I know how naive that was lol. 10/10 recommend, definitely worth it. I use regular grocery bags and slide them on as seen in my picture and can let that get full without any smells coming through (8 months of use so far). It would hold probably two bags worth if I wanted to use bigger bags (but the convenience of grocery bags though!) Wipes will sometimes stick in the chute if tossed in alone, so If I have just a quick wipe of her hands or whatever I'll usually pop it open to throw it in or obviously tuck wipe in diaper. Compact and very simple to piece together. Easy to wipe down if needed. Baby can pull herself up on it without it falling over.

Great diaper/dog poop, but not for me
Really wanted to love this. It does trap the smell! Love that. I used it for my puppy’s poop outside. No more flies or nasty smells. However, you need a husband and son who know how to pick up poop without getting it all over the poop bag. I unknowingly threw one it that they collected and it got all over the trap door part argh. If you’re need about it (like I am), it’s an awesome product and I totally recommend. Love that you can also use your own bags.

No smell, easy, and FUNctional!
This is the best diaper pail! We can use our own kitchen garbage bags, it has never emitted an odor, and it’s fun to slide the handle over to drop the diaper down! I’ve used family members’ other diaper pails and this one is far superior. This will be one of my go-to baby gear recommendations!

Love/Hate Relationship
I love that you can throw a diaper in the top and push it in without having to open the can completely like some cans. And I like that I can just use a regular kitchen garbage bag with this can so that I don't have to waste money on special bags. But there are some negatives to this can. Because you are not giving it air, when you do go to change the bag, it smells worse than a portipotty. Like stinks up the whole nursery and into the hallway kinda stink. And this can fills up so fast and when it fills up even the littlest bit, you have to shake the whole can to spread out the diapers inside to be able to get more diapers in. Like the diapers pile on top of each other inside the can and you have to shake it to spread out the diapers (if that makes sense LOL). If you don't do that, you end up trying to move the handle again and again but it will be stuck on a diaper from the inside. So you have to open it up to get it unstuck (while holding your breath) so that you cna use the handle to move the next diaper in there.

Vast improvement!
I use this to dispose of pet waste. For cat waste, perfect solution! Add in dog waste...and I have to ding it a star. Yes, it's MILES above a basic trash can BUT I can still smell a hint if I get too close. Adding an air freshener or two helps but don't get the fruit scented kind! Bleh! Otherwise, I'm happy with this and glad that I didn't get a genie. This one's opening is a far better size and I don't get a huge whiff just by placing a new "present" inside. All in all a good deal.UPDATE: Our pup made this a no-go for us. This is great for cat poop or maybe even a very small dog. But a 25lb+ pupperoo? No way. We dump this weekly, use high quality bags, and yet every week we’re cleaning pink mold that grows at the bottom of the bin. We’ve just switched to a metal can with a locking lid that we keep outside. Happy to leave nature in nature 😂

A good replacement for the stinky kind
I just got my Tidy pail a few days ago and it has been a better alternative to our current Diaper pail. It's design with the shoot and suction piston feels like something that belongs on a sci-fi spaceship. There's no oder wit this pail. Comparatively to my other pail, every time I had to open something to drop a diaper in I would catch a whiff of what's been brewing in there.I can use almost any plastic bag with this pail, the grocery plastic bags works pretty well but you need to watch the capacity. No proprietary bags here.It was pretty easy to assemble, I didn't even read the instructions. One thing the note is that if the pail is left somewhere where toddlers can get to it, that handle is really tempting to fiddle with and they'll be dropping in random toys in the pail!

Great diaper pail.
I had a diaper genie with the first grandbaby. Hated having to pay a lot for special bags, removal of the stinky bags wasn’t easy and remembering to tie the bags back. This diaper pail has none of that!Uses regular 13 gallon bags and they stay put well. You open the top grab the bag and out it goes. Super easy. There is no smell when throwing away a diaper and it’s easy to do one handed. Also this pail will hold bigger diapers. No problem throwing away a size 4 full diaper.Would definitely recommend!!
