Updated reviewInitially I didn't like them because they were pretty stiff, however I used them anyway. After using these for a few months they have all completely failed. They became so stiff to the point where they barely rotate. And now, no matter how hard I turn it, the valve will not completely close, so it always allows a small flow through it. This happened to each valve after about 2 months of daily use in a faucet type setup. They do not last when used daily.---------------------------------Initial review:Junky. Out of the 5 in the set, only 1 of them turned smoothly. The others are so stiff, it takes a huge effort to turn with one hand. The only reason I bought these was to replace other, stiff valves, therefore I only got 1 of what I needed. Not recommended.

I did some crazy water routing stuff with these valves and some tubing. I'd tell you about it but really whats the point. You just want to know what? They seem to be working fine. If they werent my wife would let me know. She hasnt screamed so these are good. No leaks and you can turn them on or off. Mine are currently on.

Works perfectly with the Hooye Size 1/4 Inch RO filter hose. The big benefit of plastic fittings is that they don't corrode like brass or some stainless steel fittings that would normally be used for a water system. RO water is very corrosive, and in fact the brass valve on my pressure tank corroded in the open position, so I have one of these sitting right in front of it attached to a very short piece of hose. At some point I'll need to replace that valve.

These are way better quality than the way more expensive brand that I purchased at Menards. They are also a lot easier to disconnect and reconnect the tubing. Definitely easier to turn on and off then what I got from Menards.

I've used two of them with no issues. No leaks and the vales turn smoothly. At Home Depot these are $7 each and they do not come with the locking clips.

Works perfectly. Only wished that thay would pack better since the little blue c washer was pain to collect from the bottom of th box. I had to completely un tape the box and search for thos tiny litttle plastics

Works as expected.
