Honestly, I don't really like to give 1 star reviews unless I'm really pissed about the product/service. Maybe that's why I'm giving this a 2. It probably really deserves a 1 though.I really wanted to like these bearings and the reviews were pretty convincing. Then when I received this product, I was even more impressed. The first thing you see is the box and it's laid out nice with cushions for everything and quite organized as far as bearings can be. None of the swiss bearings ever came in a box so nice and these were less than half the cost.Yes, the low price did give me pause, but I was not really expecting much. Although they said these would be equivalent to swiss, if the bearings were somewhat less quality I would have still been happy. Reds quality would have even sufficed seeing how they came with washers and spacers and a pretty box...and of course the lower price.But after testing the free spin on a couple bearings that I had in the wheels ready for them, I was not impressed at all in the speed. They were spinning like they were dying and no were near as smooth as even the Reds. I'm starting to feel duped...but I continue anyways. I mean it could have had a breakin period and sometimes free spins do not equal an actual spin while in use.But on the third wheel, not only did it spin really slow but it had a weird, yet pronounced, vibration to it. It was upon noticing this vibration that I realized all three had it. Only the first two were more subtle such that with my anticipation, I initially mistook it as just being less smooth. Unfortunately the vibration on the third was bad, but still I proceeded to the fourth. Maybe I was in denial or something and hoping against all odds that they could come through from this.But then the fourth bearing was on and it was just as bad as the third and finally reality kicked in. I knew that I would not be happy at all skating on these bearings with that vibration. It would not be comfortable and I'm not sure how other people could have done it and been happy with these but maybe I'm just too spoiled from using swiss bearings for so long.Maybe I got a bad batch....maybe I can send these back...maybe I should have gotten the top bearing or maybe I'm done with this brand for now. But hey, the box is really nice. If I keep it I could probably use it for some other bearings I have...and I think I'll use those washers with the swiss bearings I'm buying to replace these...

"Swiss" or "ceramic" are buzzwords when it comes to bearings. I never quite understood what Swiss meant. So I literally refused to pay much attention to them until I bought an expensive board and found the bearings wanting for quality. I was determined to not pay more than 20 dollars. Zumies will happily sell you some ten flat specials that literally give you about as much. Watching Braille skateboarding and vinh bangs YouTube brought these to my attention.The performance is amazing. Right off they are so smooth and free. They literally glide on. My 36 inch longboard actually performs like it should now, making commuting less of leg day and more of a cruise. Time will tell what my larger boards behave like, but these bearings are my new must have update. Very very impressed. Will continue to be a loyal customer!

These are definitely just as good as Bones Swiss Ceramics but took a good break in period to get there. I have every type of bearings and have had multiple ceramics even fully ceramic bearings amd these are just amazing. I got the Blackout ceramics and love the black color nice and understated. What’s not understated is the nice smooth speed you will get. I have fully cleaned and oiled these with bronson oil and after a few weeks these got absolutely perfect. Bearings should last forever if cared for and you aren’t Jaws dropping 14 feet on them all the time.

I've purchased the Neal Standard Issue Ceramic bearings and put them on my Bamboo GTX electric skateboard and what a difference it made in producing more range and higher topspeed over the stock bearings .. some claim no difference because the motor causes resistance and I call BS because less rolling resistance enhances performance! Great bearings I can't wait till Amazon gets the Neal Black ceramics in stock their suppose to be the fastest bearing Neal produces!!

I decided to go with the blackout Neal ceramics after reading the reviews, and I was hesitant to see how they would stack up against my old bones super reds, but honestly the Neal ceramics were every bit as good as I remember the bones being in their prime. Straight out of the box they required no "break in" period and rolled smooth for a very long time. I am very impressed with this brand and will most likely use their bearings from now on considering how they are significantly cheaper than other ceramics.

I purchased the Ceramic Skate Bearings 608rs Blackouts. They glide effortlessly and really do make a difference. I had an issue with 2 bearings and Steve responded that day within the hour and promptly sent out a brand new set. This is exceptional customer service and what truly makes a small company like this standout, which is why I will no longer be using Bones for my bearing choices. Grinding bearings are never a good sign, and the noise from my electric skateboard told me I should buy some new ones. A friend recommended these and I have to say they are awesome! The spin for such a long time and are completely silent. My board takes a real battering and the bearings have held up really well for the last month with no signs of deteriorating. There are cheaper bearings available but none come close to the quality of these! Worth EVERY penny!

These bearing are amazing! I bought them for my board and instantly I can feel a way smoother ride and quite. Cruising around the city has never been easier with these bearing.
