Got this for my granddaughter as an addition to her referee Halloween costume. Perfect addition. Made from quality material. Great fit.

I actually ordered this because I wanted an extra flag and figured I could use an extra hat for officiating as well. I saw somebody else’s review that said that it could be used for actual officiating. After receiving it, you could maybe use the hat and get away with it, but definitely not the flag! The flag itself is very small and made of a very lightweight silky material. The “weight” inside the flag was not even a real weight… It was a foam ping-pong ball. The whistle is not peel less so you probably wound not want to use it either. If you were looking for a nice cheap party or Halloween costume, this will do the trick. However, if you were looking to add to your officiating gear, you would be better off going somewhere else.

I recently ordered the referee bundle kit for my husband. He has an upcoming football themed event at work and decided that since his job is refereeing the employees, this would be fitting. I think the title is misleading because you don't get a shirt in this bundle. I read the listing, so I knew it wouldn't, but know the majority of people don't read. The hat feels like a standard ball cap. It is adjustable in the back via a hook and loop strap. My husband has a big head and was able to wear this without issue. The whistle is a standard stainless steel whistle. It sounds like an annoying whistle. The yellow flag is a nice extra touch. Good accessory set for costumes or actual use. Three stars for meeting expectations.

This hat is decent. the other accessories would only work as a backup- they are flimsy.
