The Organic Pharmacy Vitamin C Serum
I already incorporate Vitamin C serum into my beauty routine a couple of times a week, so I was excited to try a new brand. This serum has the classic consistency you'd expect—thick, clear, and slightly tacky upon application. It does take some time to fully absorb, so timing it right before layering other products or makeup is important. That said, it works wonderfully as a base once set. The application is straightforward, with just one pipette of serum sufficient for the entire face and neck. While it is on the pricier side, this is in line with what you'd expect from a premium brand and helps keep the skin hydrated and protected.

vitamin c serum
This is a review of 'The Organic Pharmacy Vitamin C Serum 30ml - 15% Stabilised Vitamin C, Brightens and Moisturises skin, Anti-aging, 58.7% Organic, 86.3% Natural'. This is a vitamin c serum. It comes in a bottle with a pipette to easily dispense the product. The serum is quite lightweight, and hydrates the skin well. It has brightening vitamin c. It says it's stabilised, which is notoriously difficult for vitamin c, but they don't offer much additional information or explain how they've done this. Stabilisation is important with vitamin c as it oxidises very quickly and then the antioxidant benefits are lost, so a stabilised vitamin c product is meant to be better. I haven't been using the serum for long enough to see results, but it seems to be tolerated very well by the skin and doesn't seem to cause breakouts.

Just okay
I have used a number of different vitamin C serums and this one is not the best. Considering the price I did have higher expectations. I don't find it to be moisturising on my skin in fact it does dry it slightly. However a positive note is that I have highly sensitive skin with a poor moisture barrier and eczema and found that this did not irritate or burn my skin. It smells a bit like olive oil. Listed within the instructions apparently you are supposed to use a whole pipette which I feel like if you used that much each time this bottle would not last you long at all. I wouldn't repurchase but will use it sometimes.

Wife loves this …
No idea what this does being a bloke. However my other half always tests out these sort of things for me and she has gushed about how good it is. It’s kind of pricey for something I’m not sure there is imperial evidence it’s doing anything but she swears it’s really good and is absorbed easily and improves her skin texture. For me the main thing about testing these products is some of them are a little aggressive or cause blemishes. This didn’t do either so seems safe and reliable. I’m assuming this means good quality and probably worth the money.

A bit expensive
Let's start with the price. It's definitely not cheap. And it's not a product for every pocket, especially since the results may not be certain. It smells nice and spreads well. The skin is definitely nicely moisturized and looks better, but it's too short to notice the result. I think that after a few months, I'll come back and write what and how. So far I've had a few products of this type, and this one is probably the most expensive, so I think you can find a similar product at a much lower price. If the price suits you, I think it's worth trying. A nice smell, and the skin looks moisturized and fresher, which makes it worth considering this option.

Okay but pricey
The positive for this is that you get a really generous amount which should last a good long while. The orange scent is quite pleasant and mild. I found it left my skin feeling a little tacky though rather than moisturised. For the price the packaging and labelling could probably be given a more “premium” look. It’s okay but I’ve tried nicer feeling ones that have cost less.

Feels and smells lovely
This serum smells and feels lovely on the skin! Some serums can feel tacky and take an age to absorb but this one didn’t. The skin feels smooth and fresh after applying. That being said, despite being organic which is great I do think that’s quite the hefty price tag for a serum. I’d have to see clear results after continual use to justify that. It’s very easy to apply with the pipette and you get a decent amount of which you can control. So far so good.

Very good
This organic face serum is great - it absorbs well into my skin and leaves it soft, supple and looking healthy. It hydrates the skin really well. My only issue is the price - at £45 at the time of writing my review I can't say it's good value for money as I've used equally good serums that cost around half that price. I know this serum uses organic ingredients, but I still couldn't justify paying so much for it.
