Hillsdale Furniture Lauren Wood Dining or Desk Chair, White

I was nervous about ordering this chair. It had numerous positive reviews, but the negative ones showed images of significant damage, including cracks etc., or worrisome problems with assembling, screws not fitting, etc. Of course, those things are most likely true, and "lemons" can occur. I'm sorry for those folks because life is hard, and no one wants to buy something which should help them and then have to deal with sending it back, getting refunds, etc..However, in our case, we just moments ago, had a superb experience. The darling, very white, the vintage-style chair is "more perfect" than I could have hoped for. It is sturdy, firm, and solid wood. It went together in 10 minutes.It is a really pretty chair for a daughter's white desk. It fits her feminine, maybe even Victorian style room as if it was designed for it.Furthermore, the assembly instructions were fantastic and in clear, fluent English. Also very impressive was card stock, polished, colored instruction card, stapled to the directions that if you have any trouble there is a Support Team ready and very willing to help you with difficulties. Of course, having a perfect experience means we haven't had to check the support team out.But this experience makes me want to check out Hillsdale furniture's other furniture.Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Needed a desk chair for my daughter. Easy assembly, nice look, and sturdy. Fit the bill perfectly without being incredibly expensive.

Poor quality! The backrest of the chair is cracked, and the paint has chipped off. Given the high cost of the chair, it's disappointing to see such defects appearing so soon.

Purchased to put with a desk. The chair is sturdy and is comfortable. Just so happened to match the desk perfectly too! Completely happy with this chair.

Though the chair is relatively light in weight and easily moved by a child, the hardware connecting the various pieces consistently loosens. The general construction of the chair is shoddy at best. Screw holes were inaccurately drilled. It arrived with crooked attached pieces. I do not recommend the chair, and if you do buy one, do not spend more than $30.

There was no hardware to assemble, so I cannot comment on the assembly or sturdiness . I can say when I notified Amazon about the problem, the rectified the mistake immediately. The chairs description was spot on though . I bought it for my granddaughter's desk and I'm sure as soon as it's put together it will work perfectly for her use.

In 10 minutes chair was being used. Great Value, sturdy and extremely easy to assemble.
