Too small, too noisy, not safely constructed
This mattress is a huge disappointment. I live in a nursing home and bought this mattress to replace one that had worn out. Upon opening the box, we discovered that the cord for the motor was less than six feet long and no more than a computer-type cord. We had to turn the mattress around and put the foot at the head of the bed to reach an outlet. The motor is noisy and sounds like a person slurping a straw. There is a.built in “rail” that is supposed to inflate but does not, and if a person cannot move their legs to get away from if, it digs into their ankles. It is two inches smaller on All four sides and when the alternating pressure cells inflate, they move the patient downward and sideways towards the side of the bed, which is frightening and dangerous. I will be returning it today and will not consider this company for anything else I might need.

Relieving Pressure Points
This works great, relieving discomfort and pain in pressure points. Highly recommended for anyone who is bedridden and needs relief from an injury. The twin size covers more than half of a queen size mattress.

Looks basic, but performs.
Once this is all zipped up, it looks like a generic blue hospital memory foam mattress. But it performs. The softness/firmness is adjustable for comfort, and setup is straightforward if you’ve done this sort of thing before. Essentially plug and play. I wish I’d had this when my mom was alive as I think it * might * have made her more comfortable. Sometimes the things we try to do to help loved ones are hit and miss for what actually works for them.I’ve got it with my hospital bed in storage now for whoever in my family needs it next. I also highly recommend that— holding onto medical equipment like wheelchairs and walkers, because even if you think you’ve got no need for them, you’re one acute injury away from needing help, regardless of your age.
