THE BEST DASH CAMERA FOR YOU CAR
Excellent Dash Camera – Clear, Reliable, and Packed with Features I’m very impressed with the AZDOME M550 Max dash camera. The video quality is outstanding—front, rear, and interior footage are all crystal clear, even at night. The wide-angle coverage gives great peace of mind knowing everything around the vehicle is being recorded. Installation was straightforward, and the camera feels solid and well-built. I really like the built-in GPS and Wi-Fi features, which make it easy to review footage and track driving data through the app. The parking mode is another big plus—it provides added security when the car is parked. Overall, this dash cam delivers excellent performance for the price. It’s reliable, easy to use, and packed with features you usually see in more expensive models. I highly recommend the AZDOME M550 Max to anyone looking for a high-quality dash camera. Plus customer service is the best and fast. I spoke with Melody through email and got a response the next day. THANK YOU AZDOME

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Customer Service — Melody Was Incredible! GREAT CAMERAS
I’ve been shopping on Amazon for years and customer service like this truly stands out. Melody was absolutely fantastic to work with. She responded to my emails quickly (often faster than expected) and took the time to answer every question thoroughly and kindly. This is the 4th camera I have personally used and the first time I am purchasing the M550 Max, I've had a lot of experience with the M550 and have loved the usefulness and how easy it is to use. The reason for this new camera purchase is my old one stayed with the car I was rear-ended in and had to get a new vehicle! Purchase these cameras- they are the best for the money and Melody will help answer EVERY question you have.

Great Dashcam, But Needs Angle Adjustment
I purchased the Azdome M550 Max for my 2018 Ford Fusion, and overall, I’m impressed with its 4K video quality, night vision, and reliable recording. However, I’ve encountered one major issue: The front camera captures too much of the sky, buildings and top of the cars instead of focusing on the road ahead. The Problem is despite multiple repositioning attempts, the camera’s field of view remains too high. My Ford Fusion’s steep windshield angle seems to be the culprit. I paid $170 for professional installation, so returning it isn’t my preferred solution so I'm looking for Help; - Has anyone else experienced this? - Are there aftermarket mounting brackets or wedges that can tilt the camera downward? - Any DIY fixes or Azdome-compatible accessories to correct the angle? Otherwise, the dashcam works great—just needs a small adjustment for optimal road coverage. 3.5/5 stars until resolved! (If you found a solution, please share in the comments!) Updated Review 6/28/2025 "Improved with Replacement Part – Good Support, But Initial Hassles" Updated Rating: ★★★★☆ (Originally 3 stars) Follow-Up Experience: - Positive: - AZDOME’s customer service (especially Bailey) provided excellent follow-up. - Replacement part arrived as promised and their suggestion resolved my angle-adjustment issue. - Willingness to address problems professionally deserves recognition. - Feedback: - 2 Months Setup Struggle: Multiple repositioning attempts and part replacements were needed before full functionality. - Time Investment: Required significant effort to achieve optimal performance (professional installation + DIY fixes). Final Opinion: A 4-star product with 5-star support. If AZDOME improves initial quality control, this could be a top-tier dashcam.

Very Impressed
I like the simplicity of installation, which I did myself. The hardest part is running the wiring so that it is completely hidden behind paneling or weather stripping. Definitely recommend buying plastic pry tools to assist in getting panels and weather stripping up. One tool is provided but for my car, having larger pry tools made the job easier. I also opted to purchase an OBD power cable because my wife did not want the provided 12 volt plug sticking out of her center console. Due to the location of the 12 volt accessory plugin in the car, I had to agree that running the power cable to the OBD port under the dash made for a shorter and much cleaner installation. The rear camera is designed to be mounted outside on the rear of the car. But I didn't want to put holes in the car or glue it to the paint, so I mounted it in the rear window. (purchased the optional mounting bracket) Just be careful if you have defrost lines, to mount the rear camera where they are not in view, or the camera will focus on them and the quality of the vieo will be degraded. Also be sure to put the provided clear plastic film between the window and the camera so you don't risk damaging the defrost lines if decide to move or remove the rear camera. My wife decided she did not want the interior camera, so I just unplugged it an stored it in the box. If we decide to reinstall the interior camera it's just a matter of plugging it back in and the camera automatically sees it and adjusts the resolution. Another benefit of removing the interior camera is that it increases the the front camera from 2k to 4k resolution. All in all, I like the small size of the camera, that it can be controlled from both the screen and the phone app, that it's very flexible in the number of cameras you can choose to use, has high resolution and and is easy to manage.

Don't waste your time or money
Update: I'm going to throw this dash cam in the garbage and try something else. I can rarely access the videos and the dash cam frequently insists that I re-format the micro SD card. If I don't re-format the card, the dash cam doesn't store any videos at all. The app is terrible and not user friendly. The screen on this dash cam is also so small you can't possibly read anything on the screen while you're in the driver's seat. Useless garbage. In the trash it will go. I have yet to find a dashcam that actually checks all the boxes, and this one doesn't do anything any better than others. I tried a different brand in a previous vehicle and they are comparable. On this Azdome M550, the screen is so incredibly tiny that the text is much too small to use while driving. I purchased the OBDII wiring kit with this dashcam and that caused the camera to continulously cycle power on and off every couple of minutes while driving. I will try a standard hardwire kit next so I can have park monitoring and hopefully it will supply consistent power while driving. Overall this dash camera is a little too small to interact with while driving, but it is a typical dashcam. Hopefully one day there will be some dashcam that sets the standard for great picture quality and ease of use. This is just middle of the road. Nothing great and nothing particularly bad. The included direction manual was severly lacking and the app for the phone is also terrible. It's also disappointing that the rear camera does not include any way to affix the camera in the rear window - it is intended to be installed externally. If you want to install it in your rear window, you need to purchases an accessory mounting tab to stick the camera in your rear window. Since I have a Jeep Gladiator, I want to install the camera in the rear window and that means purchasing an extra accessory in order to use the rear camera. That should have been included with the dashcam, but they prefer to sell it as an extra item. Overall, I would not buy this brand again, but I may leave it in my vehicle until I see a dashcam company develop something that sets itself apart from the massive sea of mediocre Chinese dashcams.
