Sports Fue Anabolic Whey Matrix Protein Powder (Chocolate, 5kg)

I have used various brands of protein powder for around 15 years (matrix anabolic gold/nutrisport 90+ etc). This one, for the price, is very good.You need plenty of fluid for it to mix properly, and ideally with a whisk ball/shaker strainer, upto double the amount of fluid you would normally use for the weight, compared with some other brands, other wise it will be gloopy, with unmixed bits. The powder has a higher volume per weight than most, one level scoop being 25 grams.The taste for me is fine. It has a light, almost creamy finish, especially with milk, and is light in its sweetness. Not sickly like some.The fact it contains casin is a great appeal to me, allowing for longer intervals with out any protein consumption, because of casins slow absorption.For the money you can't fault it.A good shelf life of over a year too!

I was hesitant to choose this over alternatives as I saw many comments of people complaining about the taste and saying even after using a shaker some powder remained. The taste and smell is perfect in my opinion as it is not too sweet or not sweet enough as some powders are. In regards to the powder remaining after shaking I did so for no more than 30 seconds and no powder remained. Should you use this product as instructed and don’t expect the taste to be outstanding (surprisingly that’s not the main focus of protein powder!), then you will be satisfied with the affordable cost for a product that delivers. My only issue is with the seal on the bag this comes in, it is not good quality and I find myself using a plastic container to store the powder instead. Aside from the seal I’m very satisfied and will be ordering this again when I’m needing more.

Nice texture and taste. Would prefer to know the percentage of the blend as I quite enjoy it.

This product is cheap and that’s about it.It tastes nothing like chocolate, and you would think you’re somehow drinking power, which somewhat amazes me. It really doesn’t like to mix, and honestly it’s like slush with some sand in it. The after taste is awful.You are going to thank yourself by paying the myprotein premium or literally any other brand- genuinely have no idea how I’m going to tolerate drinking 5 kilos of this stuff.Honestly gagged when I first sipped this- please please please steer well clear from this brand, you’re welcome in advance.

Price wise it's great, especially compared to the big brands who seem to think it's acceptable to charge over £100 for a 5kg bag.Taste wise it's absolutely rancid. I'm two scoops in to a 5kg bag and already struggling to find the motivation to drink the third scoop.It's going to be a long couple of months drinking this gunk.

Best price for protein powder like the flavour I use it all the time would recommend

Does it taste great, no, but at this price point, wasn't expecting it to, i use flavour drops from another site and makes it totally fine, mixes well, and an absolute bargain
