Q: What is the irradiation range of the video light?

When I use the video light, I find it can brighten up an entire room. It does have 45W, which is very suitable for shooting products and recording videos.

Q: will this mount on a camera tripod?

Yes it will. I believe most consumer cameras made for tripods are fitted with 1/4-20 UNC threads. I own a personal tripod for cameras and it fits. It comes with its own basic pair tripods that will get the job done.

Q: Does it sit flush on its back?

I have to guess as to what you are referring. Does the entire unit sit on its back if you lay it over? If you look at the image on the product page, you see that the middle third of the box projects rearward. Rearward from that projects the power supply mode toggle switch. The unit will lay flat after a fashion being slightly tilted by the switch with the top and bottom thirds of the box elevated from the tabletop. That said, I mount this on a tripod or light stand, and I am not entirely sure what you are asking. BTW, with the batteries and remote control fixed to the rear, it will lie on its back but not flush. Perhpas you could rephrase your question.

This panel light needs to be used with two NP-F series batteries.
