I had a thermarest trail scout mattress with 20+ holes in it from a cat. I used the clear patches only (no seam grip) and they completely sealed the holes to the point I could sleep on the mattress without any air escaping. I have heard they do not work as well on nylon or sil fabrics, but I imagine these would work wonders on a worn pair of frogg toggs or other urethane fabrics. Nothing sticks to silicone, but if it’s you do try these use alcohol to clean the dwr off of any fabric you intend to patch. The black ones worked really well on my Uniqlo down parka. I have washed it repeatedly at this point and they haven’t budged. Saved me from having to throw it out. This was the third time I purchased them and I always keep the black and clear in my pack repair kit. Highly recommend using these over duct tape.

Looking at my Amazon history, apparently I go through a lot of Tenacious Tape. I buy and sell outdoor jackets sometimes so that explains it, but the brand is the only ones I'd use.These ones are big 3 inch patches and a 4 pack is pretty good value for money. I'd use this as single patches and not bother cutting them up, if you want smaller, buy some of the Gear Aid packs with multiple sizes, they are better value for money.Tenacious Tape patches stick really well, once they are on they stay on so be careful you don't wrinkle the material you are putting it on as you put the patch on. Spend a few minutes making sure it's stretched and free of bits of down/insulation coming out of the hole and put the patch on slowly and carefully, pulling the material taught again as you go. It will make a patch that will last as long as the thing you are patching if you do it properly.These ones aren't massively waterproof. The company sells Gore-Tex ones which cost a bit more, but if the hole is big and the item is meant to be waterproof, I'd pay the extra and buy those. If you are patching something that's not hugely exposed to the elements, these are waterproofed and they are good enough for most things. You can always spray the patch if it starts to get leaky.Hopefully this review is useful to some folks!

El producto en si me ha gustado, me ha cubierto una necesidad.Las instrucciones del fabricante son nulas, y la descripción no es clara, y de cuatro parches dos son textiles y los otros dos, son como un termosellado transparente. Ambos hay que terminar de aplicarlos con un secador de mano, con mucho cuidado.
