This is a wonderful ornament! It is very lightweight but well-built. PROS: It is shiny, and the details make it beautiful. I love that I can lift or lower the fall board. The lid can be adjusted. The strings are a nice touch as well. CONS: The hook that connects the ornament string needed to be tightened, but no big deal. The lid does not close all the way, but instead props open. If it does close completely, I haven't noticed this feature yet. In the wrong (child) hands, I foresee many parts of this piano not holding up. (I have 5 kids under 8 years old). Therefore, this will be hung from the very top of the tree! None of these "cons" is so bad that I would lower my rating though.

This is a remarkable likeness of the baby-grand piano that my grandson plays! Love the attention to detail!

Bought as a gift for my daughter a year ago. Beautiful piano! It's my daughters favorite ornament. Some parts on it are thin so may possibly beak easy if not handled or packed up correctly.

Like other reviews mention, ornament comes in the flimsiest of packaging and arrived in a smashed gift box with a hole, inside of a thin paper envelop. The ornament itself is fine and giftable. How it is supposed to hang from a tree is not intuitive. There are hinges on the piano lid which loosely opens and closes, yet the hook for hanging is also on the lid. The lid becomes wide open with the piano dangling below if hung as an ornament. Maybe something broke in transit. We ended up gluing the piano lid in open position before gifting to our teacher.

I play the piano and have a tree with ornaments themed of my interests. This fits the bill.

The piano ornament is exactly as pictured. It arrived in a cute package in pristine condition. Will be easy to wrap or stick in a gift bag in the original box. This is the best grand piano ornament I could find and is worth the money. Looking forward to giving this gift.

So for Christmas, I got her one! Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.. Not funny, but yes, it was. She loved it and it made her smile. It's beautiful and great with detail. I love it. Pretty sure that she'll always smile about it every year we put it on the tree. 10/5, highly recommended.
