That’s a little greasy. It just wiped it all down and the one that came with. It was perfect for up around my walls to get cobwebs to dust. Oh my God I’m so happy with this product.

Works well for most high fans...but not the easiest to control at times

The ceiling fan duster met and exceeded my expectation easy to put together the extension pole was long enough and cleaning time was less than doing it by hand Dust retention was minimum on one blade and the pole was very sturdy It was one of the best purchases I have made lately and would recommend this product. you will get your money worth.

I was excited to get this and it was easy to put together. It broke within twenty minutes. I cleaned two fans, not that dirty and went for the third and the base broke away from the handle. Two tiny screws hold it together. I screwed the screws back into the Handle and one screw was stripped, so I placed a piece of tape over the in place screws. The base is now on my living room ceiling fan and the handle is in my hand. Great idea, poor, poor manufacturing! I have no idea how I’ll get it down. I have a broken leg and that’s why I bought this, I can’t do ladders right now. Such a bummer. Don’t buy his one. Find a sturdier one.

I purchased this duster primarily to clean high ceilings and ceiling fans. The pole has excellent reach and feels sturdy and well-made. The cleaning pads are soft and do a good job of picking up dust. Unfortunately, the attachment designed to clean ceiling fan blades is disappointing. The opening between the two cleaning pads is very narrow, making it difficult to slide the fan blade between them. Many ceiling fans are suspended from a long downrod, which allows the fan to move and sway when pressure is applied. Because the fit is so tight, it can be frustrating to position the attachment and get the blade inserted without the fan moving around. In fact, the amount of pressure needed makes me concerned that it could potentially damage the fan or its mounting over time. I found that the bendable attachment included with the kit actually does a better job cleaning fan blades than the "sandwich" attachment. In addition, the attachments screw onto the pole but do not stay tight. They tend to loosen while cleaning, which is especially frustrating when working on high ceilings and other hard-to-reach areas. Overall, this is a good product with a sturdy pole and soft cleaning pads, but the ceiling fan attachment could benefit from a redesign with a wider opening or thinner pads. Improving the attachment connection so it stays securely tightened would also make the product much more user-friendly. This version sounds balanced and credible, which tends to make Amazon reviews more helpful to other buyers.

fan cleaner works good Goes together easily. One attachment cleans both sides of the fan blade. The blade slides through. Other dusting screw on attachment will work on shelves too high to reach .. instead of a swifter which I dont have and will not have to buy.
