If you have a tag or pain in the anal area, the is a soothing remedy. It also is a good way to clean the area.

Perfect and instant relief. If your always itching your bottom or have soarness after wiping this is for you. Look for the 3 in a package it's cheaper

Very soothing. I have been using for years and have not found anything that works better. However, has gotten expensive but for me worth it.

Balneol appears to have changed manufacturers (or at least a change of brand ownership), as newer bottles as of late 2024 show Vespyr Brands, of New Jersey, USA, while prior bottles for many years showed Meda Consumer Healthcare, of Georgia, USA. The product is still the same and is excellent for personal hygiene "down there". I like the pleasant smell that does not change as your body heats it up (some alternative products start out with neutral smell that changes to a medicine smell after several hours of body-heat). Consistency of lotion is smooth and light and not thick or paste-like. Lotion cleans well, does not burn, and softens skin. Additionally, I like the seal that manufacturer (Vespyr) now adds under the pop-up cap to assure there has been no tampering with product and should help keep lotion in bottle during summer months when high heat during shipping sometimes caused lotion to ooze out of the unsealed bottles. Never particularly cheap in price, the price appears to be increasing upwards now, either due to the new manufacturer or simply sign of the times we're in, as a good average price used to be in a $14/bottle range and now it is often well above that amount; however, cheaper alternatives are just cheap alternatives and in this case proves the old adage that "you get what you pay for".

I have used balneol for years. It is a great product for those of us with itches in anal area. Sadly the packaging was insufficient. One of the caps popped open and I lost half a bottle. Luckily it was packed in a plastic bag so it didn’t mess up the rest of the stuff in the package. So it’s a five star product with one star packaging so the average was three.
