YITAHOME Outdoor Horizontal Storage Sheds w/o Shelf

This was the perfect size for my gardening items. It matches perfectly with our house & trim and the best part, it was easy to assemble!

Firstly, it came very quickly….the pieces are clearly marked; the printed instructions are included (you don’t have to go online); seems sturdy enough for its’ purpose. Two of us put it together in under 30 minutes (I mostly held the walls up) and it was light enough for two of us to move it into place. Now time will be the final review!

I’ve just finished assembling the shed today. While it was easy to do, I disliked the fact that the plastic parts were not very sturdy. I couldn’t make the sides lock in properly and started gently pushing them to go further in the slots. To my surprise, the plastic started bending inwards. I had to be extra careful to not damage the plastic parts. Also I had originally bought a pretty good padlock for it. Again to my surprise, it did not fit. The hole for the lock is very short and a bit recessed into the front doors. This makes it only possible to use very tiny locks such as the luggage ones. Any decent lock won’t fit on this shed. If you’re hoping to protect the stuff you put in there from theft, think again.I do like that the shed is spacious and easy to assemble.Edit: After a day and about 3 hours in the sun, the lid started bending like a banana. Now I have to figure out how to reinforce it so it won’t bend.Do yourself a favor and get a better shed.

The YITAHOME 5.6 x 2.3 ft Outdoor Storage Shed came packaged, well, all the parts were there, and it took myself and my husband a couple of hours to assemble. It actually took longer, but in this heat, we took our time.The directions are clear, it does require at least two people to assemble, and we didn't have any issues with the assembly of the product itself. The shed, when completed, is sturdy, and will hold what we need to keep in it.What did annoy me was the description in the heading is inaccurate. The shed is NOT 5.6 feet long.While assembling it, we had set the pad for the shed at 5.6 feet long. But the shed ran short! Going back to the description below the heading, the inches measurement given. is 50.2 inches long, which is actually 4.18 feet long according to my calculator.So, the actual dimensions are 4.18 feet x 2.3 feet.We decided to keep the shed, rather than return it. It's not quite a foot off of what we wanted, but then again, I should have checked the measurements against the heading. Someone didn't double check that before putting it into Amazon.It's annoying. But overall, it's a nice shed. It's just that someone in the description department needs a calculator.

This was just what we needed for extra tools etc.
