ASICS Men's Gel-Rocket 6 Volley Ball Shoe

I was a bit skeptical about the worth of volleyball-specific shoes, but had recently decided to stop using the same pair of athletic shoes for everything I do, and haven't regretted it. You can truly tell the difference. They're padded in the right ways to take the jump impacts better, they have great lateral support for a lot of quick side-to-side movements, very grippy.They aren't quite perfect, however (which is what I try to reserve 5-star reviews for). They aren't very light, and they make my feet warmer than most shoes. Perhaps this is typical, I'm not sure, and it is far from a deal-breaker. My loyalty to ASICS remains.Update (9.8.15): I'm enjoying the longevity of these shoes, when used exclusively for indoor volleyball (I have only taken around 50 steps outside of a gym in these). They still look quite new, and I play anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week. The only obvious wear is where my small toe is...since the thicker leather-like material isn't there, my small toe is slowly wearing the mesh-like material.

Great for Racquetball or Volleyball. I use them for Racquetball and the grip is incredible on these. The tongue is also thick and supportive - which you expect from court shoes. Only wear them in the court and you will see an increase in your game right away from having comfortable shoes. Hands down second best investment for my racquet game other than the racquet itself.

I like the way the shoes look, but are to tight. need a wider shoe. a 13 wide fit would make it comfortable to play in. Haven't wore them yet other than trying them on. Need to exchange for larger pair

Like the style of the shoes. Fit comfortably. Did take some time to break them in so I would wear them around the house for several days.

Asics used to make quality shoes which used to be relatively more durable that other brands. However, not this time. The sewing on the Asics sign (the four white straps) on outer side, particularly the front, broke after I wore the shoes only twice. I would not recommend you to buy this model.
