So, I was visiting a friend in Arizona, who was originally from Algeria (and is an amazing cook/baker, who owned her own event space for weddings and large events for many years), and she was showing me how to make a few different kinds North African breads. She had one of these grills and after seeing her use it (and tasting the results!) I immediately ordered one for us back home. I have since used it for a number of different breads, crรชpes (OMG!), English muffins (it holds eight, 4-inch crumpet/muffin rings comfortably!), blintzes, burrito sized tortillas, etc. The things I LOVE about it: ** the large size (15.75" O.D. and 15.25 I.D. flat between the slightly raised edges) ** light weight ** ease of use (it even has a cunning little pry-lever to help you remove the plug from the socket, slick!) ** uniform heating ** ease of cleaning. I haven't even had to "wash" it yet since before the first use! Most of the breads I've been cooking are dry, but even the crรชpes and blintzes slip right off and also the butter residue from the English Muffins (in buttered rings) just wipe right up with a paper towel!) ** it's ACTUALLY a non-stick surface ** the large, domed lid so it can bake as well as fry ** the fine, digital temperature control (defaults to 330ยฐF when you first turn it on and goes up to 450ยฐF in 5ยฐ increments). My old griddle I used on the induction cook top has a big "gap" between "5" and "6". Five is too cool, and six is too hot. With this one I can really fine tune the temp, and filling the whole cooking surface with dough/batter it seems like there are no hot spots at all (which is surprising for a griddle this size!). ** I've only had it a few months, but I've used it quite a bit and it seems to be well made and durable. I don't want to have to try a different one! :-D The one thing I'm a little concerned about: The legs seem to be slowly and continually loosening up on me. The griddle is very lightweight (and a little bulky to store: handy tip: I wrap the cord in a tea towel and store it inside the griddle, you're welcome!), and the instructions say not to over-tighten the screws when first assembling it. After the first use (on 450ยฐF) I noticed that the legs were loose after it had cooled down when I went to put it away, so I snugged them up a bit. After another use or two I noticed the same thing, so I lightly snugged up the screws again. I just made English Muffins again this morning, and now that it is cool I just had to give the screws another 1/16-1/8 turn to snug them back up. I don't know if the heating/cooling cycles are backing the screws out, or whether the holes are getting sloppy and may eventually strip out or crack. It's just a fairly small plastic bus that the screws are threaded into, so I hope this stabilizes eventually without cracking the bus. The only other thing I can think of to mention is that this is not a "regular" electric griddle, like some you'd find to fry up bacon on, or even burgers if you needed the fat to drain away. There is no "grease trap", no channels nor drains, but for making all kinds of breads--especially large and/or flat ones--this griddle works really, REALLY well! I love being able to make four pita breads at the same time! It saves so much time and the clean up takes almost no time at all!

Works great. It did come with one handle already assembled and the screws loose and stripped so unable to tighten making the handle loose. The other handle I was able to screw on tight so one handle is stable. Very easy to clean.
