No issues removing beads from hair and the wider diameter toward the bottom is great for making it easier to grip the beads. All in all, it's a good purchase and an essential tool to have when doing hair extensions of any kind

First, I want to point out that yes, there is grease in the gear of the pliers, but that is normal for tools. You can work out the grease. Second, this tool made taking out my sew in extensions so easy. It fits nicely in my hands, the notches on the lower part of the pliers work great for opening up the beads. I wish I would have gotten these sooner.

I have no complaints! I have been using these to install beads for hair extentions and they work perfectly. The 3 different hole sizes help for taking beads out and they are very durable. Will purchase again.

The pliers worked out great for doing an at-home IBE extension removal. I was nervous to buy these after reading some of the reviews about the pliers arriving rusty or gross but mine came in good condition and clean. I still washed them before use. I was able to successfully remove my extensions with this tool, small scissors, and a pair of tweezers. The only thing that stood out to me was after the removal of the first row, the beads on the second row were getting stuck to the pliers towards the end. I would purchase these again or recommend to a friend if they wanted to save some extra money. This helped me do it smoothly and stress free without damaging my natural hair.
