It works
I love the smell of it and my hair is less frizzy. Also after using it for several months, hair is growing faster and thicker

No frizz, but lacking directions for use.
I have very thin, dry, brittle, fine and curly hair so I'm always on the hunt to find products. I picked this up thinking it might help moisturize and reduce frizz. It smells rather nice, almost coffee nutty like. I wasn't sure exactly how to use it as the label left a lot of questions. It basically states to massage into scalp for 2-5 minutes and leave in for best results. Use 2-3 times a week. Do I do this before or after washing hair? We hair? Dry hair? I ended up using it as a conditioner in the shower after washing my hair which made sense and then attempting to wash it out with warm water. It didn't work. The product is very greasy and clung to my hair. I ended up using a little shampoo. It didn't take it all out so I shampooed my hair AGAIN, which I am pretty sure only aids in further damage and drying. It did seem to help with the frizz as I didn't aid my typical go to antifrizz product which was pretty amazing. Not much helps with that, but I have to say even after shampooing my hair there is still a bit of a greasy look. I think next time I'm going to add this to my hair dry before showering and then wash it out with my normal shampoo. I'm not brave enough to leave this in over night, something I suspect my bedding approves of. It's too early to note the long term effects of use, but I appreciate the anti frizz at the moment. Overall, not bad. At the present price of $9.99 it seems with in fair market value but being a rather small container with the suggested 2-3 times a week use this jar won't last very long especially with longer hair if you apply to all of your hair.

Love the smell!
I love the smell of this stuff but so far that's about it. I may be using it incorrectly but I find it leaves my hair looking greasy and dirty after I wash it. I'm hoping it does what it says it should but I have only been using it twice a week for 3 weeks. I will keep experimenting and update when the jar is empty.

First time use and I'm impressed!
I had never used batana oil, so i didn't know quite what to expect. This is a solid oil, much like coconut oil in a jar. It becomes more liquid-like once it makes contact with skin and it's rubbed between your hands. It has a slightly gritty texture to it. I didn't notice it weighing my hair down any. The scent is pleasant, natural, and not overpowering. Personally, I use it on my hair when it's dry to remove frizz. I have naturally curly hair, so it is definitely not prone to looking oily. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this approach for fine, straight hair!

Smells like I've been swept away to a Honduran Coffee Plantation! I kind of want to eat this...
This smells like a combination of chocolate, coffee, and toffee. Very delicious smelling. Definitely smells like something I want to eat. It also comes in a decent sized jar.I live in Florida, and it is crazy hot here so it arrived somewhat melted. If it's cold where you are, you will have to warm up little bits in your hand before being able to use.A little dab goes far and it is great for dry hair ends. If you are used to using cocoa butter, shea butter, or coconut oil, this is about the level of greasiness we are talking about. I like it as a hand moisturizer too. Apparently according to what I've read online it can be good for the skin and brittle nails. Kind of seems like an all around good oil to use.I've never heard of batana for hair growth until now, but I believe most likely the way it works is more about keeping your hair healthy, and moisturized to reduce breakage and allow you to grow your hair longer. It's too soon to tell if it actually GROWS hair faster, but if I notice that, I will report back. The ONLY ingredient in this is batana oil. I think using it all over my scalp regularly would make me feel to greasy. That is one of the issues I have with most hair growth oils, I have to be a bit more oily than I want to on a daily basis. However, the instructions on THIS box suggest to use it by massaging into scalp or other affected areas for 2-5 minutes. You as a leave in treatment for overnight. Use once or twice a week and it suggests it is for skin and hair. It does seem like it is versatile and also probably a great ingredient in DIY beauty products.

Healthy Shine and Stronger Hair
I’ve been using this Go Ho Raw Batana Oil for a few weeks, and it’s really made a difference in the texture of my hair. The oil is pure and has a nice consistency that doesn’t feel too heavy. It’s packed with vitamin E, which I feel has helped increase the shine and overall health of my hair. My scalp feels nourished, and I’ve noticed less hair shedding. It’s a great addition to my hair care routine for promoting growth and preventing hair loss. Plus, it’s organic, so I feel good about what I'm putting in my hair!

Hair feels softer
This Go Ho brand of batana oil is easy to apply but takes a little while to wash out.I don’t know if it’s going to help stop my hair loss or promote hair growth because I’ve only used it for a short time, but it does make my hair feel softer and hence a fuller feelng.I did not smell any fragrance because I have sinus problems but the oil texture feels nice and creamy.I plan on using batana oil as a skin moisturizer this winter. This 4oz jar Is a good value because a little bit goes a long way.
