Love the tattoo gun itself, but the supplies said it was supposed to come with. They were surely lacking. I was missing a couple of items.

This set comes with everything you need to get started.I’m not a tattoo artist, but I enjoy learning different techniques and drawing on the practice skins, and I've tried a few different kits now. This kit includes everything you need to get started, including cartridges for lining and shading. It took a minute to figure out how to get the adjustments fixed to the proper settings to run the machine just like I prefer, but once I did, the remaining adjustments and fine-tuning were fairly easy. The gun has an adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're trying to learn how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm).I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins (included) and intermittently shading in small faded areas of old tattoos to try it out on actual skin. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly.The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over old ink. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone who wants to explore tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Plenty of ink, cartridges, and cups (love the silicone cups - heart shape is cute too) to practice many different styles and applications.

This kit looks pretty cool, and included everything pictured and described except one important item. There's no ink. So I can't use it. Ink is pictured and the description says "this set includes...8 colors of tattoo colorants." Bummer.

As a newbie to tattooing, I can honestly say this tattoo gun is the best I’ve tried! The image guide is super clear about the recommended voltage for different uses, which really helps. The ink quality is solid, and the needles worked like a dream, giving me nice, clean lines. I definitely recommend this kit for anyone just starting out who wants to build their confidence. The fake skin is perfect for practicing with the gun, and if you get a stencil printer to go with it, you’ll be on your way to becoming a bona fide artist in no time!
