I got this in lieu of a hatch because I wasn’t ready to drop $160 on an alarm clock that had cheaper alternatives like this one. So far it works very well. The sound options are good and the light works great! It gets bright enough I can use it as a light at night to read my book before bed. I love the red light feature and turn it on between snoozing my alarm in the morning. Has a 24hr time display option, dimming options for light and clock, volume control, and many more capabilities. Super easy to get set up. Probably not as sleek looking as the hatch but I don’t think it’s an eye sore by any means. Highly recommend if you’re debating on getting one but trying to save a few bucks.

I got this alarm clock because my iPhone alarm kept deciding to not go off when I had early morning classes. This clock has been a total lifesaver and has helped my overall quality of sleep! There’s a lot of color options and you can easily adjust the brightness depending on the vibe you want. There are over a dozen sound options too! I use the brown noise before bed every night and it is amazing to take on trips if you need pink, white, or brown noise to sleep. You can adjust the volume to your liking so every aspect isn’t too much or too little. The clock display brightness can be individually adjusted as well so you don’t have to settle for the clock being too bright and the color being too dim. If you don’t want the light or sound on for the entire night, there’s a timer that goes up to 180 minutes so it can turn off automatically without touching your alarm! The sunrise aspect is awesome! The alarm sounds are not overstimulating or loud, but just enough to wake you up. The brightness does get pretty bright by the time your alarm goes off, but you can adjust the length of time you want the sunrise to start before your alarm. I have mine set to begin 15 minutes before my alarm, so it gets brighter quicker. If you had it begin 30-45 minutes before your alarm, it’ll take longer for it to rise. It’s a wonderful way to wake up in the morning and I highly suggest getting this clock if you wanted a cheaper alternative to the Hatch alarm clock!

This clock is perfect for waking up gently with ‘sunlight’! The many different sound options are great! The quality of this clock is just very good and it delivers exactly what it is supposed to. It also looks lovely on the nightstand. I ordered another one to give as a gift and the recipient absolutely loves it! A very good, affordable option for a sunrise clock.

This is a very aesthetically pleasing clock! It does work as intended and feels high quality, but the reason why I had to shave a star off is because of the fact that it's not wireless, the buttons aren't the most intuitive (I had to consult the manual rather than just plug in and go), and the sound quality for the various wake up sounds is not good. I've had a few alarm clocks before whose sound qualities were better; this one is oddly tinny and a little static-y. Other than that, this clock has some nice features: there are different sunrise durations (10, 30, 60 mins), customizable wake up sounds, and even different colors for the sunrise if you're into color theory and its emotional influence. If the cons I mentioned are important to you, I'd maybe choose a different brand, especially at this price, but otherwise this clock does do the job as intended if you don't necessarily care about the cons. I might end up searching for a different clock if the sound quality ends up frustrating me enough, but the most expensive Hatch just doesn't have good enough reviews for me to pull the trigger. If the manufacturers of this clock see this somehow, if you're seeking feedback for improvement, please optimize the audio quality. I think there are far too many advancements in compact speakers and sound quality for this to be an issue, and for the price you're charging, such a nice-looking clock deserves the premium quality across all of its features, including its internal ones.

This is an amazing knockoff with all the feature of the higher priced model. Great sound machine ambient lighting and reliable alarm. I bought this for my son but will be returning for one of my own.

I really like this alarm clock-especially for the money! I had originally looked at the original daylight alarm clock type brands but just couldn’t justify spending the price. So a few months ago I took the plunge to try this one. I actually purchased several to contrast and compare but once I tried this one I liked it so much I didn’t bother with the others and sent them back. Full Disclosure: I HATE being woken up by a startling sound and I also DESPISE daylight savings time, but I digress.😜 In my effort to try to get back to a semblance of the wake up with the sun routine, my test started. The first thing I noticed is that this thing is easy to set without instructions. It was surprisingly intuitive and I am pretty opinionated about my frustrations with such things on a regular basis! How my particular alarm works with a half hour sunlight routine: If my alarm is set for 7:30am for example, at 7am the clock will start the process of gradually putting out more light… a very mild glow that grows slowly over the next half hour. At the 7:15 stage it seems to speed up the process of gradually glowing more imbut again nothing startling, just an ever so slightly brighter warm glow. It never makes you jump or startle. I’ve never once gotten that feeling of someone coming in and turning on all the lights. At the actual alarm time, if you have chosen music to add, it starts. Eight options including birds chirping and roosters crowing are available options from which to choose. Surprisingly I chose birds chirping and like it very much although on those first few mornings when I was already at the other end of the house when the birds started chirping it was a tad puzzling. Mine is set on a 30 minute increase and you are able to adjust the light coming on from as little as 5 minutes to a full 60 minutes. I just chose 30 minutes as it made sense to me as a place to start. I was concerned this wouldn’t be harsh enough to wake me so set back up alarms across the room at first but have never had to use them. I wake up happier-not startled or grumpy-and it truly does feel more natural even though it remains pitch dark outside. Last but not least not spending the price of the original version of this names me VERY happy. Highlight recommend.

I LOVE this sunrise alarm clock. I’ve used it for a week now and have woken up about halfway through the “sunrise” each morning, before the actual alarm sound goes off. I am not a morning person, but this has changed the game! The size is great, it’s incredibly easy to use, and it looks good on my bedside table. It offers tons of different noises for sleeping and for waking up. I personally love the bird noises! I also love that you can adjust the brightness of the time display. It’s definitely not the sturdiest thing in the world, but it seems like it will hold up!

I bought two of these alarm clocks, one for each of my sons for Christmas gifts. They're alarm clocks so not very exciting, but necessary, so they didn't open them right away. Once they finally opened them and set them up we couldn't wait to see how they did in the morning. So here's the thing, one of them is great, easy to set the time, change music, hit snooze etc. It worked great! The other one about a week in stopped working. You can push the buttons to try to change time, music, hit snooze but it doesn't do anything. You have to actually unplug it to get it to turn off. I know i'm well outside of the return window and that's on me, however it's extremely frustrating. I gave it three stars, because one worked, and the other doesn't. It's literally a 50/50 chance. I'm now needing to purchase another alarm clock to replace this one, but i'm not sure I want to purchase this one again.

My wife has issues falling asleep and this has helped her get to sleep quickly.

Really like this alarm clock. It’s easy to set up and operate. I don’t use the white noise options, but I love being woken by the sound of birds and a little light as I need to be up before sunrise everyday. It does the job and is reasonably price. Only downfall is, I wish it had a second alarm. That would be really handy on the weekends. My previous alarm clock had this function and now I don’t have it, I realise how much I actually used it.

I enjoy this clock very much. Despite the fact that I use an eye shield to sleep, I still wake up feeling relaxed with the sunlight and humming birds.
