We had a need to secure several interior doors and wanted a combination door handle that doesn't require a key. I was so pleased with this product that I ordered five and they have all worked consistently well. All my installations were replacements so I was able to save the original strike plate and I didn't have to use the supplied guide to make a strike plate. After figuring out that the assembly required disassembly first I went from 45 minutes on the first install to 10 minutes each. As shown in the photos the unit comes fully assembled and has back-up keys along with a strike plate if needed and templates when boring the door hole. It's very important that the door is the correct size as cited, and to adjust the screws with a manual phillips head and not an electric screwdriver in order to avoid over-screwing. The handle is made from sturdy material and it not likely to break without a lot of effort. The four AA batteries that are not included make the keys light up whenever touched making it easy to enter the combination in minimal light. Finally, it can be set up to use a finger print, which I haven't done. If I have problems doing that I'll update this review, otherwise, my opinion is that the user will be very happy with this product. Each the internal and external knobs extend three inches from the door.

Installation and programing was an absolute breeze! They literally make this product idiot proof. The instructions are straight to the point and simple. The door knob looks so nice and sleak and most importantly adds great added security. Its a great buy, you get more than your money's worth! The fingerprint recognition works better than any other device I own.

Nice doorknob, easy installation. Programming is fairly straightforward. The instruction book walks you through it. Best part is, they have 3 ways of working the lock. Biometrics, combination and key.

It was super easy to install & program. It reads figure prints with no problems. Passcode works. Feels well built. The only problem is. To get the keypad to light up, you need to hit a button. If you hit (enter) first to light it up. The door knob think you are wanting it in set up mode & your password code won’t unlock the door. Another example if you hit 1 to light it up & your code starts with a 5 it won’t unlock because it will be the wrong code. Your passcode should start with an easy number to feel so when you hit it. It lights up & you can finish your code (6-8 digits) Only if you are doing this in the dark with no lights on or can’t see the number without the light being on…. It locks after every use. So you do need a code, print or key to get in.

First I just wanna say I love the fast shipping and delivery!! Second it was very easy to Install, ThorBolt even provide a QR code to scan that leads you to a YouTube video showing you how to install step by step. I did spend a little while trying to setup my fingerprint and passcode but I came across this man video on YouTube and he shows you step by step on how to setup your fingerprint and passcode. He even shows you how to delete them too. Another thing I love about the doorknob is how fast it detects your fingerprint or passcode. And the color, it’s like giving Rich without even trying! It’s simple but fits the rich aesthetic look , definitely if you tryna go for that look. Overall I give a 1000/10 for Amazon & the company!!

Great keyless entry door lock. Very easy to install. Works great. Fabulous deal for the price.

I've been wary of fingerprint door locks in the past - seemed very complicated. But this Thorbolt was pretty easy to install. I didn't really use the instructions, just disconnected the wire connection (a little tight - didn't want to damage them so took some time), slipped the two sides into position and tightened the screws. I did make one mistake and had the interior know 'upside down' - but it really doesn't make much difference and was easier to access the screw to put the batteries (note: batteries not included). I finally had to read the instructions to push the reset button and find the instructions for fingerprint and code entry. All was installed and working within a half hour or less. I like the solid feel of the knobs and the fingerprint is working fine. The keys are provided in case of any problems - plus a nice note to keep them outside of the room you just locked :) So far, its highly recommended.
