Fantastic stuff - can’t recommend it highly enough
I’ve been gradually applying this to the exterior walls of my 1907 semi - no cavity walls so not easy to add more substantial insulation to, and with a tendency towards condensation in corners and under walls that leads to mould. Started with a particularly nasty corner in the master bedroom where a wardrobe against a cold wall was creating a real problem with mildew. Three years on, that wall is still clear of mildew and I’ve now papered 4 more rooms with Wallrock.Walls no longer feel cold to the touch, there’s no condensation (not ANY!) and therefore no mould. And you can feel rooms heat faster and cool more slowly, it’s a really noticeable difference - even in the attic bedroom. It is a bit of a challenge to work with - any hints on how to cut it more easily would be welcome - but the adhesive (which goes on the wall instead of on the paper) is seriously good and the finish is amazing because it really does cover over any surface imperfections in your plaster, so great both for insulation and for renovation. Also leaves you with a great surface for painting, which goes on easily and ends up looking super clean and smooth. It is pricey - that’s why I’m doing it in bits - but I think it’s amazing value given the impact it’s had and how hard-wearing it’s proving to be. Just ordered another batch - 3rd bedroom is up next.

Great stuff!
I have gradually used this on many of my external walls, particularly on two areas which suffered with damp and black mould. I have yet to see how it copes through the winter but I have been impressed by how it goes on and how good it looks. As well as on plaster, I have used it to cover wood chip which is a real nightmare to strip off walls. Measuring takes longer as you have to be very precise . I found it more like woodworking or, I imagine, dressmaking. As it is thick , I found it easier to not use it around corners , but use separate pieces on fiddly areas around windows for instance. I use a fine polymer filler if there any gaps at joints and this works well. Leave it to dry out completely and I have found the finish good enough to paint over without the need for lining paper. I have also papered over it.

Lovely - if you have nice flat walls
We live in a cottage, and bought this to cover the north facing wall in the bedroom. Well - if you have lovely flat walls, with perfect corners, this will be a doddle to put up. We don’t. It was an absolute pig to get round the corners with any sort of decent finish. It’s essentially felt bonded to thick paper. No stretch or give. I literally had to cut chunks out of it, match up as best I could and get busy with the filler when all dry and stuck. The glue does stick the "paper" really well. You do need a lot of glue, but plenty is supplied. The end result was just painted - and, although the finish wouldn’t impress my very picky brother, it’s fine for us.One thing I didn’t like though - was it really necessary to wrap the bucket of glue o. 21.5 meters of plastic? What a waste. Oh - the wall is now pretty warm to touch - so at the end of the day it does the job it’s meant to.

Perfect solution for condensation in fitted wardrobes
As our wardrobes had already been fitted we measured each compartment and cut the liner to size. Easily cut with a good pair of scissors and apply using plenty of adhesive. Covered three double fitted wardrobes with ease and no signs of condensation returning. Wish we had been advised prior to installation but not difficult to do.

Mould banished from cold walls under windows.
Who knows why, but when the block of flats we live was built, the developers used one layer of bricks less under the windows. This is where the walls always feel icy cold, and where mould grows all year round. It was a toss-up between this insulating wall covering and cork. We tried this first, as it is more flexible so better on old uneven walls. Now those areas of wall always feel room-temperature, not cold. Maybe we are imagining it, but the rooms feel a bit warmer in cooler weather than they used to. The wallpaper is not very thick but makes a big difference. So far no more mould!

awesome insulation
very easy to put up, it has excellent adhesion and has made at least a 5 degree improvement to our house.

OK when up! difficult to do around sockets and windows.
Good quality material but very hard to put up without wrinkles around plugs and windows, I use it again I would cut in pieces and use filler to mask joins. Does help with protecting a cold outside wall so I am please now it is up

Brilliant
Goes on easier than I expected (and I’m no decorator!) nice and thick, really does hide the bumpy cracked walls. And made an amazing difference to a cold wall. Really pleased and would definitely buy more if needed.
