These jumpers from EDGELEC are of impressive quality from others here on Amazon. I’ve bought cheaper options before which were made of pathetically cheap wire (if you can call it such) and crimped incorrectly. These however are made of genuine 18 AWG wire and soldered directly to the clips.

I'd say these are of good quality and look decent, but I wouldn't want to use them every day. I kept a set for my test bench, and cut up the others to make a custom balance cable for equalizing Milwaukee M18 battery packs. They work but the precision of the clips is what I'd call lacking, and I expected that at this price point. It worked for my use case and for occasional use, they should be fine. If I were a professional using these daily, I'd certainly spend the money on higher quality jumpers which would likely hold up longer term. I used them to create custom leads which was nice in terms of flexibility. They have sufficient length for average benchtop work. If you've used test leads before then you should have no issues using these because connecting them is easy.

These are not like some I have ordered in the past off Amazon that were poorly manufactured and extremly thin wire. These ones have reasonable wire, soldered to decent alligator clips.

These are well made. The covers are flexible but tough. The jaws grip tightly and well and I have used them around the outer conductor of an RCA connector and for a fine Arduino connection wire, both were held well even when jostled. They are a good length, but if needed they can be joined to each other (teeth crossed) and the cover slid forward so that there is not exposed (electrified) jaw at the join. Excellent choice.

They are large and sturdy. The clipped are very tight and clamp on strong. These are not for small connections or testing.
