A must if through cutting of wood with engraver. Prevents overburning on underside of workpiece. Very well made.

Got this today and I was shocked on the weight, in a good way. I was kind of sad as I thought the pins came with it, but no it didn’t. The honeycomb and frame is well made thought. The measurements run on 2 sides so it’s easy to line up your work and the aluminum pad is nice and will help keep the work surface safe. If you are new to laser engraving, this is a must have accessory!!

This working bed is a solid upgrade for laser project, flat, stable, and designed to keep airflow moving so cuts stay clean and smoke doesn’t linger. The aluminum panel adds durability, and the honeycomb structure helps prevent scorching on the underside of materials. I tested it with wood and acrylic, and both came out with crisp edges and less mess compared to a plain surface. The only drawback is size: it’s perfect for mid-range projects, but larger jobs will need something bigger.

500 x 500 Honeycomb bed for laser engraving. Received today, First impressions... Not yet used will add photos taken today and more later. Don't have enough time to post photos. Work calls.. The Bad.. No tape or security stickers on the box it comes in. ( maybe Amazon would have put tape on if shipped as is, ( The Good ) but I had it sent in an additional box ( hide the contents selection). The Bad. A few scratches on the aluminum plate and one corner has a little bit of a bend. Did Not come with any corner protectors stated. No they didn't fall out into the box shipped in. None a deal breaker for me but loose a star. The Good. The size is right for the Creality Falcon laser , seems sturdy enough, is magnetic the price at least for today compared to others of the same size. That's all for now. Update later after a chance to use. Oh LOL...it's also not ROUND as stated in the description, 🙄 it Square.
