THE defining book about Canadian Pacific
Marc Choko, an esteemed academic, highly sought-after speaker, and well-published author, has written THE defining book about the Canadian Pacific company and their role in developing not only Canada's railroads, but Canada itself. Using his vast knowledge about this iconic Canadian company, and illustrating his text with photographs, posters and other branding graphics, Choko brings to the reader some of the same excitement Canadian Pacific brought not only to Canada, but to the world. Choko has written other books about CP, and spent countless hours in their archives, but in my mind, this is his finest work to date. The language is crisp, the visuals are first-rate, and the story is compelling. A great gift for anyone interested in history, railroads, Canada or branding ...

Beautiful
I purchased this for a research paper, and I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. The reproductions are large and colourful, and some history behind the CPR's posters is provided by Choko. A perfect book for any collector of Canadian art, Canadiana, or commercial art!

CP the architect of a unified nation
Magnificent book and all Canadians should read about a company and the kind of leadership that is required to build a nation as in the transatlantic railway and maintain it .Political leadership and business worked together to build a great nation .
