Q: Does anyone with an older child use this? I’m desperate to get my almost 4 year old to sleep in her own bed all night without waking.

Yes I bought one for an older granddaughter. Of course each child is different. I think it would be great for a 4 year old.

Q: Is this the 2019 version?

I purchased 2 of these in June 2019. I would think they are 2019 editions. And by the way they are very nice and my 2 great granddaughters (3 mos and 2 mos) love them. My granddaughters say they their daughters seem to sleep a lot better.

Q: My 6 year old cannot sleep would this be good for her?

We found this product entirely ineffective/ it’s a cute doll but as a white noise maker it’s far too underpowered. When on highest setting you can barely heat it every held up to ear. Very disappointing as we were excited about the purchase. Get the snoo bear instead
