Item works great for potted plants and I even made a second order. But beware: Basic shipment is in a factory box, which does not protect very well and can result in some breakage, which is what happen to me. (See pictures.) For my second order, I requested that the shipment arrive in an Amazon box. Worked great with no breakage thanks to the shipment now being double-boxed.

I thought about giving it 4 stars because one did break but seriously.. they're not metal. I took the advice of another reviewer & had it shipped in Amazon packaging & they all arrived in one piece. I also soaked them overnight before using them. The one that did break was prob because I pushed too hard on it. I bought the biggest pack they had. I believe it was 20 of them & didn't pay much more than $30. Not a bad deal. They do seem like they're not as thick as they maybe could be but they work just fine. Just be gentle with them & they should last.

These stakes work great for my mediumand large size potted plants. Great when you’re going out of town or just want to do a little less plant tending.

Having this changed my life! It's easy to keep my plants watered and not dry. The ease of use should be for anyone who has a busy schedule but wants to keep a lush garden.

This is a great idea but does not seem to work well it does not let the water out and I still have to water my plants. I’m not sure why it is not working correctly but it’s not. Also, they are brittle I have broken 2 so far and I was just placing the bottle in them and they cracked and then came apart.

I was pleased with the product. As promised and packed well. Problem was with handling and shipping. (Amazon side). Packing box was damaged and 3 of the items inside were broken. Wasn’t worth sending back for a replacement so I kept them and took the loss.

Keeps the soil moist and while out for the weekend. Don’t need to water so often. Slowly distributes the water without it draining out of the bottom. I just ordered another set. Great for the summer heat ! I have yet to break one. Start saving your long neck glass bottles.

These break SO EASILY and don’t last very long at all…I wish these were made of a sturdier terracotta.
