easy to put up, lightweight
I ordered this tent to use when I took my 6 year old (who can't really be of any help putting the tent up or taking it down yet) cub scout camping. It is lightweight and fits in a small, easy to carry duffle bag. Though it didn't come with any instructions, it was very easy to figure out how to put it up, even with the rain fly. It is truly a 3 person max tent for sleeping or maybe if was raining would work to sit on the floor to play cards or games. The dry gear storage is really nice along with the pockets and storage loft that keeps "stuff" out of the way of the sleeping/sitting room. If you need something small and compact to take on a hike or easy for one person to put up on their own, this is a great tent (and a great value compared to so many others I looked it preparing for this campout).

Great 4 season tent so far
A couple of things to note on this tent: 1l) So far I've spent only 6 nights total in it and while it did rain one night (no problems with condensation or leaking) our testing is not yet done. 2) Of the nights spent in it we only hit 28 degrees as a low. At the time we were using a Thermarest Xtherm sleeping pad and a 15 degree Marmot Trestle sleeping bag, with long pants and shirts on, and we were very comfortable in this tent with that sleep system. (Froze my tail off when I had to step outside of the tent in the middle of the night so my coziness was definitively due to the sleep system and tent.) 3) I've not seen how this holds up in wind yet. It may be awesome (felt and looked very sturdy) but I can't say it would definitively do well in X mph, so I can't yet review its ability to take a beating. So far it is VERY roomy for 2 people and 2 packs inside. 3 people would be "snug" (definitely doable since a queen size mattress did fit inside when we car camped with it for 2 nights) and packs couldn't comfortably stay inside with you. The vestibules are BIG! Make sure to zip the vestibules up all the way (makes a HUGE difference in warmth) outside the tent body, and be aware that only one vestibule fully unzips. The tent has 2 doors, but when hatches are battered down you have only 1 exit since only one side of the cover/rainfly has a zipper (unless you want to tango with a staked down vestibule at 3 am). This tent has been great so far, but be aware that it is just over 9 lbs (for a 4 season tent at this price point I was okay with that). Just be aware that it is a heavier tent for backpacking. We have backpacked comfortably with it, but just adjust your loadout in other areas to accommodate the additional weight. I'll update after more testing.

Great little tent
Took this on a recent motorcycle trip in Australia. The good: -easy and quick setup -stands through the weather well, I was in rain and heavy wind and it didn't flap around or leak -packs into its carrying bag well, not too much fuss no matter how you fold it. -vestibule space in front and rear is good The bad: -I'm 6'1", my head touches one end while my feet touch the other, couldn't recommend it for anyone larger than me. -3 people would be a stretch, but this is a compact tent so I suppose that's the point. -ventilation... Even with heavy wind, the little vents seemed to do nothing, on still nights the tent becomes very warm and has a lot of condensation -entrance door and vestibule overhang make getting in an out difficult for an adult. -the stakes that come with the tent are easily bent -the strings provided to wrap up the tent once you have rolled it all up, are a joke, they don't have muck slack and show wear after the first use, luckily you don't really need them, but a Velcro or elastic band would be better. Overall the tent outperformed my expectations in the wind and rain, I didn't need to use all of the stakes or tie downs so there was a lot of spare parts should I need them.

Do not recommend for single camper, perfect for two in nasty weather
This tent is a little large for one person to manage, but 2 person tents alone are sometimes a bit too small for my liking. I know if I was camping with another person that it would have gone up a lot faster and easier. Having said all that, the construction of this tent is excellent and the design makes sense. There are quite a lot of guidelines and stakes needed to be pounded in, but it will withstand some serious wind and winter conditions. As a single person in the tent, my body heat didn't compete with the low temps I was in (low teens at night) but like I said earlier, with another person, I bet I'd be a whole lot more comfortable. 5 stars for quality, construction, and customer service; 4 stars for amount of stakes needed. *Update* I have used the tent more both by myself and with another person. It definitely goes up fast with two, but once you get the hang of it, I can put it up by myself quite fast! I love this tent, especially without the fly. Its nice and roomy and takes a beating from the weather. I added a photo from a camp in Savannah, GA where it survived a wind/rain storm strong enough that several trees were destroyed in the night!

Excellent four season tent - great for scouting
I just bought this tent and took on our first Boy Scout camp out. My son and I had the tent setup in less than 10 minutes. Including the fly, stakes, and everything. There are two large doors which allows great ventilation in hot weather and even in the rain. It will lock down tight for colder weather but still allow some ventilation. It is very light and the tent bag is sized so you can put the tent back in very easily. I wish the initial setup instructions were a little better. I had to make my own footprint, but it was pretty easy and didn't take too long. Three people would be pretty tight, but if you leave your gear outside under the vestibule it would be possible. Great tent for the money.
