I've never been one to take great care of my hair. Shampoo and conditioner is about all I ever use, no additional products. However, lately I've been wanting to get more into hair care because who doesn't want shiny, strong hair? I was so excited to try these Remilia serum capsules because one, look at the packaging, it's adorable. And then, the benefits of shine, strength, and moisture. All things my hair could use more of. All you do is twist the little top off the capsule and squeeze the serum onto your hair. According to Remilia, you should apply half to damp hair, and then the rest after if needing frizz control and extra shine. The first time I used a capsule, I applied it to damp, brushed hair. With me having pretty short hair (a bob), I had plenty left over (they definitely give a generous amount per capsule!). After drying, my hair felt extremely smooth and soft and the ends did seem less frizzy. I think I noticed the biggest difference though when I applied the serum onto dry hair. After allowing the serum to soak in, my hair felt silky smooth without any frizz. It also had a nice shine to it as well without looking greasy. . One of my favorite things about Remilia Hair capsules though is the smell! It's such a nice, light scent that makes my hair smell amazing! Another thing, I left this serum on my hands for a little bit and I couldn't believe how soft they felt. Which is quite a feat with how dry and cracked my skin is right now. So maybe they can turn this hair product into a body oil/lotion as well (hint hint :D)?? Also, these are cruelty free and the capsules are biodegradable!

First off I have very straight hair and, as a stylist once told me, although I have a lot of hair the actual individual strands are very thin. I have to therefore be very careful of using certain products because they will make my hair very greasy and weighed down looking. I wanted this particular product because of the amazing sounding hair nutrients and nutrition in it. I also think the packaging is super cute (a clear glass bottle with a cork top, and the little twist off aqua colored single use capsules) I was afraid at first that this stuff would make my hair a greasy mess. Let me tell you though, I threw caution to the wind the first time I used this and put it in my dry clean hair. Miraculously, and literally like magic, it did not make my hair at all weighed down or greasy. In fact it was like it went double the volume and shine instantaneously. Plus the scent is absolutely heavenly. It is not overpowering, it’s intoxicatingly beautiful and almost naturally therapeutic almost like high quality essential oils are. I don’t like heavy perfumes and most shampoos but this scent is so nice! In fact, if this scent were a perfume I would buy it! I have been using this about once a week, and my hair has been thicker, healthier, shinier, softer, and best of all it has been shedding less and less. I love this product and definitely will reorder!

I Bought this product for my Daughter & myself. I have fine straight long hair. My daughter has Curly thick hair she is growing out. My daughter uses them once every 2 weeks & I use them about once a month . We both love how they make our hair look/ feel . Soft, silky, shiny , bouncy. Not too thick for my thin hair it actually gives me some volume the first couple of day after use . I use half a capsule my daughter uses a full capsule . We do not use everyday or more than I have posted as too much keratin can cause breakage . Finding the right balance for our hair to use & this stuff is amazing . My mother is now ordering for her very thick long Italian hair after seeing our hair after treatment & over all improvement in dryness & shine. Just remember, a little goes along ways . The fragrance is not over powering to me , but if you are easily irritated by fragrance this may be problematic for you . Both myself & my daughter have not experienced any irritation. Also :Dimethicone is sometimes referred to as a silicone oil. Dimethicone coats hair, providing great shine and conditioning to the hair ....A Simple clarifying shampoo once a month prevents build up even if you are using no silicone oils , at least for myself and daughter this has worked fine. We also get trims every 2 months or so . I Will be a repeated customer and be repurchasing .

Overall I would say I like & recommend this product! I’m a licensed cosmetologist so I’m definitely more of a critic when it comes to hair products... What I like: safe ingredients, nice scent, portability, softness, less-waste, main packaging is cute, shortens blow dry time What I don’t like: potential oily feeling, can be too heavy for some hair types (doesn’t add volume), packaging isn’t always consistent You can most definitely over-use this if you’re not careful. If you have fine to normal hair, I would recommend even less than what their description says. After about two months of use on my own naturally fine curly hair, I can tell that a little goes a long way. Every person is different, so just be cautious of what works for you! They do quote that it adds volume, but I did not experience that. Even with a light amount it seemed to weigh my hair down some, which is to be expected with an oil. I do have fine hair though, so not all may feel that way. I noticed some of their packaging on their Instagram looked very cute straight out of the mail...I received a typical Amazon envelope with just the jar inside. It doesn’t bother me, but it is important to keep in mind if you’re expecting a grandiose unpacking experience like some pictures show. That all being said- I feel as though it does add shine and seems to keep your hair healthy. Just use the right amount and take it slow. Since it does contain keratin, you can over-use it, so I like to apply it every other or 3 times after shampooing. Hope this helps!

I am usually such a slacker when it comes to leaving reviews on Amazon, but after using this product for the first time last night, I felt compelled to give this serum a glowing review. In fact, I have already subscribed to receive it every 2 months. In hindsight, I think I will have to change that to every month. I have problematic thick, frizzy, and “bendy” hair; not straight enough look nice when I air dry, nor curly enough to scrunch it into nice curls. I, throughout my life (I am in my 60’s), have literally tried at least 50 brands of serum, and nothing I have ever used has even come close to this product. I have traditionally worn my hair about shoulder length, and in the last year or two have been getting it cut shorter and shorter due to the fact that it has been becoming harder to manage my regular length. For you girls out there who are wondering about what shampoos and conditioners I have tried, or now use, this is the rundown: I used to love the old formula of Pure Grace shampoo and conditioner, and when used with Philosophy’s (now discontinued, of course) serum, I would say that that combination came the closest to perfect. Then I tried Wen. I have been using Wen for about 5 years now, and I found that using the cleanser, then the oils on wet hair before blow drying gave me ok, but not perfect results. My hair may have looked semi-decent after styling, but the minute I stepped outside in the humidity, it would puff up and start to look dull and feel coarse. I received my Cosmocap serum yesterday afternoon, washed my hair with Wen, applied a dropperful of oil on the lower half of my hair (seems like a lot, but my hair is really thick), then applied the Cosmocap. I could not believe how silky and soft my hair felt, even while it was wet. Then, after blow drying, I knew I had found the Holy Grail of all hair serums! Not only did my hair feel different, but it was bouncy and straight, something which I have been wishing would happen with each brand/system/product I had spent lots of money on, but never achieved my seemingly unattainable goal until now. I only mention the shampoos to assure you ladies who use Wen that you can, indeed, use other stuff with it to enhance your hair, no matter what claims are made about the product, like “it is the only thing you need to make your hair great”. Try Cosmocap with any cleansing products you usually use, and the results will be unbelievable. When I ordered my Cosmocap, I thought it a little pricey, but I bought it due to all of the great reviews. Now I realize that using this serum will actually save me money; no more blind purchases of shampoo, conditioner and serum that seem promising but always disappoint. Now I can use up even the $$cleansers that I was considering giving away, and the Cosmocap serum will ensure that my hair looks great. I never want to be without this stuff!

This is my new favorite serum, look at how soft and shiny it made my hair! I will say the formula can be kind of heavy on dry hair. I would only apply it to wet hair and REALLY work it in to the ends well. The capsule seems to be the perfect amount for my hair which is short and fine, but I could potentially see needing to use more if you have insanely thick hair. Definitely start with one before deciding to use two because it does go a long way! I like to brush mine through to make it evenly distributed so my hair can really soak it in. My hair looked like this after right after blowing it dry! No straightener or any other products were used. My hair wasn’t tangled, greasy or frizzy and it smelled AMAZING. I’m working on getting my bleached hair healthy again and this is a perfect addition to my hair care in order to meet that goal!

I have been using this for about 6 months. It works great. Moisturizes my scalp. Regrew hair in an area that was constantly being scratched due to scalp issue and helped heal the scalp if a 2 year issue even the dermatologist couldn’t fix. Then I noticed at the temple area where I typically have very fine hair that never grows, after 6 months I now have 4 inch long thicker hair there. I have never had complements in my hair because when it gets long it gets stringy. Evans’s so much of my hair falls out due to hadhimotos. After 6 months all I get are compliments on how beautiful my hair is and I have been able to grow it out long and keep thicker hair, even styling and using heated tools.

I got this specifically to help the static issue I have been having badly with my hair. I've used twice so far. I applied to damp clean hair and the first time it did seem to help. However, the next time it did not. It is easy to apply and move through hair. It does seem to absorb well. I did research on serums or products with Dimethiconol. It's a silicone which can cause build up and prevent moisture. Since my issues are due to lack of moisture this is not helpful to me. Does seem to give my hair more texture and softness but it was more noticeable the first time I used it. I will not buy again because of the dimethiconol.
