This is a nice little metal clock!
I wanted an analog battery operated clock and thought I’d never find a nice metal one, I did!It has a nice sleek look, no noise at all and works perfect. I hope it holds up as well and as long as Little Ben did. ~.* it’s lightweight.

Love,
Love this clock. I don’t like light while I sleep and all I have to do when I wake is push the button on the top and see the time. It is good looking as well. There is no noise from this clock.

Very good basic alarm clock, easy to see and use
This is a good, basic alarm clock. It takes no work to figure out how to adjust the time, and the controls are simple and easy to manage for both the time hands and the alarm. The clock face is easy to see from across a room to tell the time. The clock has a night light at a very intuitive place at the top/back.The alarm sounds very much like a kitchen timer, as most do these days, but at least it's a nice, clear beep, not staticky or muffled. The snooze function is super intuitive to engage using the light button. I especially like that the alarm volume increases the longer it's on before it's turned off, and the alarm tempo varies , too.The one thing I am a little bit concerned about is that, while there is a nice felt bottom on the base to keep the metal of the clock from scratching surfaces, it's very thin, possibly so you don't see it in profile. I just prioritize avoiding scratches over the look and would be a little concerned about a delicate nightstand top. I have that concern with many clocks--I would tend to set this clock on something decorative that also protects the nightstand surface just in case. But as it arrives, it's not a concern (maybe it won't be for most people.)Overall, a very good alarm clock.

Cute little retro clock - simple and old-school in appearance and function
This is a cute little clock for a side table near a bed, or a desk, or somewhere else you want something cute, functional, and small. It's not tiny, but only takes up about 4.5" width and height, and about 2" depth. It is the size and appearance of an analog alarm clock from the 1960s or 1970s. We ordered the "green" to go in a guest bedroom with complementary colors. It is a pale green, and very neutral. The shape/deisgn of the clock would fit in with just about any decor style from the mid 20th century until now.I appreciate how simple the clock appears and how simple it functions. It's like your old school alarm clocks...one knob to set the time, another knob to set the 12-hour alarm. There is one switch to turn the alarm on or off. There is one push button, right at the top back of the clock, that serves as both a "snooze" button and the light button. The light is small, and barely illuminates the face of the clock (it casts out from a tiny bulb in the top left of the clock face), but it works as long as the button is pressed. Old school! Reading the clock in darkness using the light is helped by the little glow strips on the clock arms - though I can't tell if the clock arms glow on their own in total darkness. The clock takes a single AA battery, which was kind of a pain to get in given how snugly it fits. It was also a bit tricky to get out given that snugness, but I don't plan on changing batteries regularly. There are two "modern" and appreciated touches to how the clock works:- The "ascending alarm" that increases in loudness until the alarm is turned off (you'll just need to ensure to turn it back on that night)- The clock runs silently, meaning it doesn't tick. I know that doesn't seem modern, but it's a nice touch in a clock that's old school in virtually every other way. It's also nicely constructed. The main part of the frame is metal, while the back is mostly plastic. However, it doesn't feel overly cheap or bad. The lettering and numbering are all clear, straight, and nicely done.Overall, it's a good little clock! It looks cute, and it's easy to use. It's worth the reasonable $14.99 price.

Much prefer analog over digital
I got rid of my old alarm clock 13 years ago when I retired, and didn't think I would ever need another one. Most days i wake up about 7 to 7:30 am naturally without the help of an alarm. However, I am now involved in two Bible Studies that start at 6:30 am, so I now need another alarm clock, as there is no way I'm waking up at 6 am without some help. I love that this alarm starts out very minimally at first and within one minute will ramp up the alarm four times until it is full bore within a minute or so if it is not put in snooze mode or shut off. The snooze button also doubles as the light-on button. In the dark even though the face is not lighted, you can still see the hands that are luminous enough, one can figure out the time without the distraction of another light source, that is why I like the old style analog better, everything is darker and it's easier to just drift off into a blissful sleep without the distraction of a lighted digital clock acting as another source to keep the sheep at bay. it has a great retro look to it and the nice large numerals are easy to see. Setting the alarm and the time is very intuitive and easy to do....I like easy. If you have to have an alarm....this is the one..

old school
Pretty easy to setup and use, just set the time and that's it, there's a backlight if you want to see it late at night, it uses batteries so its nice to have in case the power goes out, you'll still know what time it is
