I'm a motovlogger I've not been using any external mic so far with gopro and made 100+ videos in a span of 2yrs on my youtube channel finally I got this mic adopter.Good thing is that it fits from gopro 5 to gopro 7.You don't necessarily need a collar mic 🎤 you can use with headphones mic too but you need trr to trs converter.Adopter wont work if recorded video in quik capture mode on gopro, literally no sound will be recorded you need to turn on gopro then hit record to get Audio.Adopter will be dangling around so must and should need to buy a case which costs another 1k.Audio quality is top notch no doubt in that.These are my opinion and things I've come accross so far.Visit my channel if interested I post travel and photography vlogs every Monday at 6pm on my channelYou can find my channel on YouTube by this name below.Biker by heart.bengaluruThankyou hope it helps.
