The sweetest story you'll ever read
"How to Catch a Star" by Oliver Jeffers is a charming tale about a boy's quest to catch a star. With simple yet captivating illustrations, Jeffers conveys a heartwarming story of determination and imagination. The book's whimsical tone and universal themes make it a delightful read-aloud for young children, inspiring them to reach for their dreams. Also, my 2 year old loves it!

Super book!
How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers was the first book that I introduced to toddler T featuring the Boy, not knowing whether she would like it or not. Since I had introduced it earlier than the age I have recommended below, it took a while before she finally took to the book. It later became a favorite for some time and she asked for it by its name. Even though she has given it a break for now (Thank God!) and we have moved to other books, I am sure she will come back to it soon. The Boy is looking at the stars from his bedroom window and the only thing he wants right now is to have one of his own. Trying his best to reach the star and catch it, the story follows him as he spends an entire day looking for a star that doesnโt seem to be appearing. Will he catch a star? WHAT WE LIKED Full paged and childish illustrations, apt for beginners to identify things. Short sentences, easy to read, explain, and understand. Fun story giving multiple morals subtly. WHAT WE DISLIKED the impracticality of the actions of the boy (from an adult point of view) though if you view them as a child, youโll find them perfectly fine. A fine story for a young toddler to read. Published by HarperCollins Childrenโs Books. Recommended age 2+ years.

My daughter' first ever story book which turned out be her "THE FAVORITE""
Awesome book! Easy to tell the story as book contains more pictures than texts and hence kids grasp the story easily. I told the story to my 2year old daughter couple of times and now she tells the story to everyone by herself! I have taken a video of her telling the story which is my favorite video of her. ๐ She asks everyone to narrate the story though she knows the story ver well. May be she loves to hear the story again and again. ๐

Me and my 2 yr kid's favourite author
Love all three books in this series. This story is our most favourite. She sometimes wakes up and asks for her star book. Illustrations are simple and beautiful. One or two lines per page. Easy for 2.5 yr old to concentrate on a single scene. The words used are perfect as they are what she has been learning nowadays. So helps reinforce her learning.
