This is a simple and useful device but somewhat tricky for first time user. Its could sense movement at a range of up to 10 feet. It has two presets which set two separate delay timings. When this device detects movement of a person, after a certain delay, its output pin changes state. This delay can be as low as 5 seconds and as high as 300 seconds. The second delay decides, how much time the output will remain in true state and then automatically revert back to false state. I tested it with Arduino but you can use it with any microcontroller or also drive a small relay coil with it to sound a buzzer or switch on a lamp.

Im giving 5 star. The product is good.It will work for years with a 9v 1amp battery. Took only 3-5 ma battery during normal working and rest time it will sleep to less than 60 microamps

I'VE GOT DELIVERED ON 4 FEB. 2020. AND MADE SUPPORTIVE CIRCUITS AROUND THIS KIT AS YOU SEE IN IMAGES, BUT IT'S DETECTION RANGE IS NOT SATISFACTORY AS I SUPPOSEED, IT IS NOT AWAY BY 2-3 METERS, AND IT'S SENSITIVITY CAN'T FIX. WHEN I SET IT'S SENSITIVITY PRESET NOT TO SENS IN DAY.... BUT CAN'T POSDIBLED, IT DO LOAD ON - OF UNNECESSARY, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, I ALSO BOUGHT A ANOTHER PIR MOTION SENSOR KIT WHICH WAS I RETURNED FROM 'GENERIC 'ALSO SAME PROBLEM IN THAT, I SUPPOSE BOTH KIT ARE USELESS AND CAN'T FIT UPON REQUIREMENTS, CLOSING MY REWIEW GREAT IRRITATING MOOD. 👎👎👎😵😵

Il prodotto arriva ben protetto, impacchettati ad uno ad uno dentro una busta antistatica e spediti dentro un contenitore di cartone.Non ci sono bisogno di tante spiegazioni per questo sensore, facile da usare e con tanto supporto in rete.Si presta a tante applicazioni,specialmente nell'ambito della domotica. Spesso capita infatti di dover controllare il passaggio di una persona o un animale domestico, e un sensore PIR e' probabilmente il modo piu' facile ed economico di implementarlo. Me llegaron en el día que se indicaba y van bien protegidos en una caja y además en sobres de plástico antiestático.Aunque no llevan instrucciones o serigrafiado qué pin es cada uno o qué hace cada porenciometro, una búsqueda rápida por google te soluciona el problema.Por el momento he podido probar solo uno de los cinco que vienen en la caja, pero a falta de hacer alguna que otra prueba más parece que funcionan bastante bien.

These are very easy to get started with as there are only 3 connections. All the complexity is hidden. They work well as a human movement sensor. I just need to decide what that killer project will be. These are cheap enough to mess about with even without knowing their final purpose. Definitely a fun building block. An idea might be to power down a microprocessor LED display if no one is looking it it.There seems to be some misprints on the quiescent power supply current. I think the units should be ~65 micro not milli amps.

This sensor has been a workhorse for the electronics industry, and this one is a great price. Please be aware that there are no instructions or pin outs, but there are literally hundreds of sites that have tutorials and code snippets to help you get started. it is really not very complicated. Used this on a project to detect wildlife getting into the garden and scaring them off. It is durable ( bought these before) and small enough to not be noticed. Range is nice on it too.
