the button jams if unused for long time or not used with caution and umbrella will not open. it's a good umbrealla as long as mechanical working is not affected

I’m honestly shocked this even made it to market. I used the umbrella once during a light drizzle — not a storm, not a hurricane — and now it’s completely useless. It won’t open or close, no matter how many times I try. I’ve twisted it, pressed the button a hundred times, even tried begging. It’s stuck in some weird limbo like it’s deciding its life purpose. Clearly, it decided it's done working after one job. Must be nice. The build quality is absolutely pathetic. I expected a rain umbrella, not a one-time-only prop. If you're buying this, you might as well just hold a wet newspaper over your head — it’ll last longer. I wish I could rate this zero stars. Total waste of money and patience. Do not buy unless you enjoy being frustrated and wet.

I returned as soon as I got it. Don't get me wrong the umbrella seems nice. But, the cover has such a poor stitching and I have previously ordered an umbrella from Amazon Basics itself a few years back The quality that had vs this. This one looks like a cheap rip-off. It will serve the purpose right but won't look elegant. It has easy open mechanism. But, I returned it mostly because of the quality I had previously received was far superior. The old amazon basics umbrella reeks elegance while this one is just meh okay I'll use it sorts.
