A very good book. The topics are very clear in understanding the subject. Here I am attaching few images which cover the content of the book.

I had purchased classical mechanics book by A.P.French one year ago from a book shop.This book was fabulous. So after reading that book When I saw this book, I ordered it blindly. Fortunately this book does not disappoint me.

Honestly speaking , this book could overwhelm you a bit in the beginning if you have not revised your 12th Mechanics and Geometry , but don't give up on this book. It is brilliantly written and mainly focuses on the theoretical concepts of vibration physics. One piece of advice from me is that DONT BUY FOR JEE OR NEET. This book is strictly for Bsc Physics or your Engineering courses. So no need to rack you brain over this book just for a small easy chapter of SHM , any general physics text is more than enough. The binding or the printing quality could use a lot of work , it rather looks like cheap photocopy of the pdf version. Some of the diagrams labelling are not quite visible clearly and often required me to refer to the pdf version. But rest assured the content is top-notch. It may require a few weeks to get accustomed to the writing styles and the geometry used but once you get the hang of it , it becomes straight forward enough.Anyways Happy Reading.If you find it helpful , be sure to hit the helpful button below.

Although dated and the print horrible, for a seeker the information furnished from the start to the end including exercises and examples, it is a consolidated though of the author and MIT which published this book over 60-years ago. For me, it was a pilgrimage into a subject that has consumed me and there is no end in sight. I strongly recommend that publishers take cognisance of my thought and make it a must in the personal library of students.

Its a great intro physics book for waves and vibrations. High school math is essential to understand it. Really great text.

Book is good

Book was delivered in good condition. Some are complaining about bad printing but the PDF version also has same quality of print for images so overall no issues.

I bought this book for my college course and it helps me even with those topics which I don't underastand during the lecture.

Me gustó mucho este libro aunque le hace falta ya una revisión de los nuevos temas que existen. Pero en general es muy bueno para un buen curso de vibraciones y ondas.

A very good, rigorous - and short - introduction. Does for v&w what Kibble does for classical mechanics. Gets you to a good level of knowledge very quickly.

Uno de los pioneros modernos en vibraciones. Completo sucinto y con abundante bibliografía.

well written, perfetc balance betwen math and phisic.. cover all the argumet from the basis to the advance ones in a very rapid and clear method.
