TOURNAMENT 5 - Large 48cm / 18.9in Handcrafted Wooden Chess Set Professional Staunton

Very nice size, larger than the standard chess set. Pieces not has heavy has i expected but still a good size and feel.

Arrived in time. Unfortunately very disappointed in workmanship. After opening the cheap packaging which was the first warning sign, discovered the box had not been put together at all well. One hinge was pulling out of the wood and when opened and laid flat, the board was not level and would probably not last very long before the box broke altogether.Very disappointed, was looking for a decent chess set at reasonable price but received mass produced set with no care in how it was put together. Will return and maybe choose not to buy on-line.

A nice chess set for the price, our daughter was very pleased with it as a birthday present.

I've had cheaper chess sets but wanted one of good quality that would last for several years. I've been very pleased with the aesthetic workmanship of this set and in some ways it has even made the game even more enjoyable. There is a broad range of sets available to buy, which makes the process of selection difficult, but I really have no regrets in having chosen this one.
