A superb game for those who like The Mandalorian and cooperative board games
I picked this up because I'm a big fan of the Mandalorian and I love cooperative board games. It's very fast to set up (just a few minutes) and takes me about 45-60 minutes to play each game. The gameplay uses cards (no dice) and is quite tactical (almost like a puzzle-solving game). The production values are excellent, and you don't need a large table to play on. My initial concern when I first opened the box was replay value, as there are only four maps. However, the game unlocks more complexity as you play, adding new cards and rules after each game -- including mercenary missions with rule overlays that let you use the maps in different ways. Combined with the 8 characters (with 3 different difficulty levels along with "advanced" versions of the characters that are unlocked later), this gives you quite a few ways to play the game. I would love to see future expansions for seasons 2 and 3 of The Mandalorian (with new maps and characters), but even the base game has quite a lot of replay value. It also has optional "traitor" rules, but I don't like that style of gameplay, so I ignored it. The game works well solo too, although you're expected to play two characters. A big part of the appeal relies on the theme, and I think this game does a wonderful job of invoking the feel of the TV show. If you don't care about The Mandalorian, it's still an excellent game -- particularly if you're a fan of cooperative board games like Andor or Horrified. On the other hand, if you dislike the TV show and/or cooperative board games, you should probably give this a miss. I'm giving this 5 stars because it ticks all the boxes for me. I love the theme and the gameplay, it's not too complex or too simple, and it feels quite different from any of my other cooperative board games. I hope they bring out more expansions in the future!

Nicely Thematic
Very thematic. Nice mechanics. More to it than you may think at first (some may be disappointed at 4 maps but there are overlays to vary them).

The game has interesting risk management card system if the total value of cards reaches a certain amount a enemy event is triggered. The game is rules lite so easy to understand. My only quibble is I wish the game was new adventure of The Mandalorian instead of recreating episodes from the series. The Mandalorian is a cool character but I must be one of the few people who doesn't like Baby Grogu!!! Apart from Grogu it's a ok game

Great game!! It has an interesting mechanic of using the book as the game board, we played 2 games back to back and won one and lost one. A nice bonus is that the box is designed to accept the expansion. It's a Co-op game that makes the players talk about options. I definitely recommend this one

This game is fun, but very detailed. It was not something we could pick up and play right out of the box. Lots of preparation and pre-reading required. And it seems like it would actually be more fun the less people you have. So it wasn't really a hit for family game night, but still has lots of merit if you are buying it for a big mandalorian fan who has one friend. That's just my two cents. One thing that is unique is that you can actually play by yourself, which can actually be quite enjoyable, although there are still a lot of things to set up and read through.

Flexible fun challenging. Worth every penny. Can play it over and over with different characters and numbers of characters to discover new ways to play
