Works perfectly I am using them in Coleman 20 can party stacker with a combination of ice at the bottom and two chillers on top and it can easily keep the stuff cool for 10 to 12 hours and more

This Coleman Chillers Day pack is very heavy to carry.So I returned and not worth for my pocket.

I had bought the chillers to be used with the coleman ice box. I had kept meat inside and included the chilled (after deep refrigeration) chillers inside the stuff cold. unfortunately it couldnt keep it cold beyond one hour and the frozen meat had started thawing.

I found it to be exceedingly useful.

Made In USA and are the best in their class and price range. These fit perfectly in a good sized lunchbox or bag like the ones that Coleman makes. These are about the size of a good sized larger book. These in a proper cooler stay frozen for a very long time in indoor or moderate conditions and still provide decent cooling when they start to thaw. The plastic they're encased in prevents rapid thawing like some of the cheaper thin plastic bag varieties tend to do that are often shipped with styrofoam coolers. Highly recommended. I needed replacements otherwise the previous ones I had were still good after 5+ years. They're still made the same way, durable and reliable.

I was looking for an emergency way to save meat in my freezer in case power went out. If you have a large enough plastic storage container, you place the hamburger, steaks, roasts you don't want to lose into it and place one of these ice packs inside too. Buy at least two so you can rotate when the ice pack melts. You can also keep two of them in your freezer at all times to prolong the length of time your freezer remains cold enough to keep meats in when power stops. To re-freeze the ice packs, simply place one outside during any winter month. They will re-freeze overnight.
