I have a very high arch and have started to have a lot of pain mostly in my heal. As per my Doctor's advice I have ordered arch support inserts for my shoes. However, there are different brands of supports and considering a variety of shoe brands, the fit and comfort are hit-and-miss.So, I recently bought these Orthofeet shoes and was amazed how comfortable they were and how well they fit. With their built-in arch support and light weight I will probably use these shoes more than most of my others because of the overall feeling. Plus, they solved the pain in my feet with their precise build and placement of the arch support.Even if you don't have foot problems, these shoes are worth a try. And they might even help prevent problems down the road.

The shoes are very comfortable. I have wide feet and they hurt when I wear other shoes. Some shoes hurt within 15 minutes and some start hurting after two hours. These shoes do not hurt my feet even after 3-4 hours. I ordered XXWide not realizing that it's a 6E. I have another pair of Orthofeet shoes that are 4E and they fit great. Orthofeet includes liners that go under the insoles if the shoes feel too large and they work great. The shoes feel snug enough to keep me steady without feeling like I'm slipping around the shoe. On my older shoes the velcro strap is getting worn out after a year and a half and that's one reason why I bought another pair. The shoes are well worth the cost and my feet feel so much better.

I'm a diabetic with many foot problems to boot. Unusually high arches, super wide feet, calluses, severe neuropothy, a bad painful toenail on the big toe, and chronic tendonitis on both feet. Finding good shoes are a huge issue for me, and mens shoes tend to work better as they go up to a higher width.These shoes are awesome. Even when I ordered a half size too big, I could tell they were comfortable. I sent the big size back and ordered the right one with no problems, so if the fit is wrong just ship them back.I ordered the largest width and they are perfect, but my feet are 6e. If your width is smaller, I would suggest not getting their largest width in this shoe.They truly are comfortable to walk in, and I can easily forget I'm even wearing them. They don't rub or push on the sides of my feet where the tendonitis is, and they don't push down on my bad toe. Honestly not sure I've ever owned a better shoe than these. I'm excited to try out some of their other ones now. Who knows, maybe I'll finally be able to get a cute womens shoe that doesn't cause pain.

I cut hair for a living so I'm on my feet all day long. I tend to blow through shoes rather quickly. A lot of shoes are comfortable but after a few months wear out and my feet begin to hurt. I also have plantar fasciitis, so I need a very comfortable shoe that has great arch support and over all foot support. I found my brand. I immediately began wearing these as soon as they arrived and they didn't even need to be broken in. Will buy this brand again.

I am a solid 13eee. Clearly, the XW shoes are much wider than that. I like the shoes, but they are way too big. Why not just put normal sizes on them? The shoes themselves seem of good quality, but I cannot wear them often as they slide and rub. Company offered an Amazon card in exchange for review. They refuse to honor it. Terrible customer service for $130 shoes

We got these for my dad for Christmas. He wears them daily. So much easier to get these then trying to go thru the doc office and get a prescription for diabetic shoes. He said that they are the same as his prescription shoes he was wearing. Good fit, we like that they came with 2 different insole liners so you can get the perfect fit. Very comfortable he says.

very comfortable but they wear out quickly not 6 months in and I am looking for another pair. the insole is now shredded and the bottom of the shoe is worn thin. highly dissatisfied.

I love the open feeling across my toes and the balls of my feet. The platform of the insole/inserts feel good to begin with and appears ready to take the form of my foot as time and use allow. They aren't Allen Edmonds but for what they Are, they Are wonderful to my feet.
