This is a great gel pad for use on just about any part of the body that needs pain relief with ice. It's large so it can wrap around the average leg/knee or use it on your back or shoulder. It comes with a soft cover that protects your skin and it remains cold for several hours. Keep it in your freezer ready to use any time for pain or just to cool down.

I bought this for post breast aug surgery. It worked so well and stayed cold for a very long time! It wasn't too heavy, and covered my entire chest (plus a little above and below-- perfect for the swelling). I would use it, then set it to the side and take a nap for an hour or so, then wake up and it was still cold. I love how it can morph into crevices and that is has a colder and a not as cold side (due to the cover). I looked at tons of different large ice pack before settling on this one and I'm so glad I bought this one. I tried to use smaller (regular sized) ice packs and the "blanket" effect of this one was so much better!

If you have any kind of back pain this is the ice pack for you. Not only is it big enough for your whole back it stays in the same position you put it in. This ice pack stays extremely cold the whole time you use it. It is very durable and the quality of it is amazing. This is actually my 2nd one because the first one I have somewhere to use when I am there.

Good ice cold gel, holds cold for over an hour. The first time I used this gel pack (three weeks after TKR) I found it to relieve my pain in about 3 to 5 minutes. I believe it to be because of it being able to wrap around my knee almost(2" short) all the way around. It felt so good to get total relieve that I feel asleep for 5 hours and woke thinking, uh oh, you aren't suppose to do that. But I assume everything was ok, my skin didn't get burned like they tell you it will. The only thing that I don't like about it is, the great flexibly makes it hard to kept it slipping and sliding it the provided pouch. It gets all bunched up at the bottom of the pouch. That's why 4 stars and not 5. I 'll have to see how long it last, I have another knee to get TKR'ed in a month. Thank you Cureve.

I have lots of pain issues herniated disc, fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis etc and this has helped me out so much. My whole back hurts so I used to have to use several ice packs to cover my back and this covers my back completely. It's a little on the heavy, but that's to be expected since it's a large size. After 20 minutes with this on using the ice part my back felt better and I felt relief which is rare sometimes. It's very sturdy and I haven't had any issues yet and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I've bought other therapy gel packs before that leaked after only a few months so I recommend this if you want something that's going to last longer.

I was in a horrible Sip and fall accident at a grocery store buying my daughter flowers for her 18th on a row in a row at the fifth toughest school in the state when I picked up the flowers and put them in my hand the compressor door slammed open to the floor and water went everywhere about 4 inches deep I took one step and went flying through the air I lived it on my skull and fractured my score then I came down on my spine causing three herniated discs in my spine and my LT 4 5 and 3 were sent 5 in out of place and my lower lumbar which is at the bottom of your spine right above your buttocks was destroyed sending that about 5 in out of place yes I sued the grocery store and I got paid an average amount which today I wish I never took because I am permanently damaged and I will never be the same I expect by the age 15 years from now which I am 41 that I will not be able to walk ever again also I forgot to mention it tore my meniscus in my left knee and an extreme sprain in my left ACL this ice pack has been amazing in helping me because I refuse to let my health mentally and physically fall apart which it was because I was home every day on the couch not able to work or do anything which the grocery store was not willing to pay my loss in income but I never signed off on the medical release forms which means they are still liable anyone out there who goes through a traumatic physical injury and also when I forgot to mention a neurologic injury from my brain being shaken so hard not to mention I had a slight tiny anxiety disorder when it happened only because I was very active to make sure anxiety did not bother me until this horrible accident which cost me Stress and Anxiety that was through the roof leaving me almost at some points unable to leave my own home until I force myself to get off my butt and push myself to be in public around people and to hit the gym 7 days a week which was the real factor of helping me the only problem was because I still need surgery my spine hurts so bad everyday until I found this amazing ice pack and I mean amazing I am 6 ft 5 245 lb so that being said this ice pack is amazing it is gel it never gets rock hard and hurt your body it comes with a great ice pack bag to surround it I think it is one of the softest materials I have ever felt and amazing to go around and ice pack basically you just pull the velcro open and put the ice pack in there and wear a thin shirt and this thing will take care of your back no problem I sit first for 20 minutes on 20 minutes off for 1 hour and then you can heat it up in the microwave because you want to bring warmblood back to the damaged tissue and muscles because when you ice it you are removing the damaged blood that is in that area and then you bring fresh blood back into it with heat I am an expert in physical training please listen to my advice by this ice pack it is amazing this company truly deserves some serious Awards

Love the size.!, dont like that i have to remove the cover to microwave this product. I am one handed and its very difficult to put back in cover, so i just use a towel instead. The microwaving instructions say to heat up in 30second increments, took my son over 3 min. And was frustrated because it was not heating up very fast. So when i tryed it, i left it in the microwave for the full 3 minutes. It worked great.! Not sure if doing that will break it down faster though. I folded it and put it on the turntable making sure the gel inside was evenly distributed. All in all, i love this product and it stays warm for quite a while.! This has some weight to it and tskes longer to heat up than instructions indicate.

For much of my life I have lived with pain. Cold packs have been something I use regularly. Just before my knee replacement July 2018, I purchased the extra large hot and cold therapy pack. It was expensive, so I was a bit hesitant, however the size appealed to me and the claims that the material used in it is different from others, it stays cold longer. Well, that is an understatement! The cold pack is very flexible instead of rigid like most are when you begin using it. It conforms to the area being treated. It is quite cold, I wrap a towel around it. After my knee replacement, I would go to sleep at night with it on my leg and the bottom of it would still be frosty when I woke up in the morning. Great product, I highly recommend it.

My husband runs very hot and has chronic back pain. He would never spend this kind of money on an ice pack for himself, but I thought it might be worth a try to see if it could help his quality of life. He loves it. The ice pack is flexible soon after you take it out of the freezer and it covers most of his back (he is 6'5"). It also stays cold/cool for hours (depending on the weather/temperature in the house). He was sad every time the pack warmed and had to go back into the freezer, so I ordered him another one and he can alternate between the two. It seems well-made and worth the investment.

This is an awesome product. Very well built . I use it For my back after every workout for 15 mins . Works wonders . Love it. I purchase two after using one for two weeks!
