I’ve only experienced a hot stone massage once, and I loved it. The thought of being able to replicate that wonderful spa treatment at home, not only for me but also for my family, was very appealing. I placed my order for the Mezsocly Hot Stones for Massage with heating tray in hopes that the fantasy could become reality.This is a very nice-looking set. The heating tray is similar to the trays used in buffet lines, and it nestles down into a bamboo box frame. The stones come in three shapes and sizes. They’re very smooth and feel wonderful on the skin. The device is operated with an attached digital display remote. The remote is laid out nicely and easy to operate.While I was impressed with the set itself, I found the instructions to be a bit confusing. The instructions, both in enclosed paper and online, tell you to “(step1)“heat it with water to 212 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes”. (step 2) Heat it in a heater (tray style massage stones can be added with water) (step 3) Use the remote control to set the desired time and wait for the massage stones to heat up….” I wasn’t sure what they were asking me to do. Am I supposed to heat the water outside of the unit to 212 then add it to the pan, or heat the water in the pan with its own heating element? According to the specifications of this product the heating element is capable of reaching 167 degrees, so heating to 212 degrees isn’t possible. (A picture on the order page shows a temp of 170 displayed on the remote, but nowhere in the documentation does it say it will reach 170) Furthermore, my particular unit only reaches 130 degrees, so I fall far short of 212. Perhaps if I’d had experience with a device such as this I would understand the instructions better, but I truly didn’t know what they were asking me to do.I proceeded on my own. I added about an inch layer of water and turned the remote on for an hour. It seemed to heat fairly quickly, so I added the stones and waited for them to get warm. After an hour I checked the temperature and discovered it was 130, not 167, so I set the control for 90 minutes. I checked back after it had been heating for about 45 more minutes, but my unit never rose above 130 degrees. Even though the maximum temperature had not been reached, I found the stones to be delightfully relaxing. It didn’t matter if they were used as instruments of massage, or if they were sat on my body in key areas to deliver their therapeutic warmth, they were wonderful. They maintain their heat for a long time.While I really think better instructions are needed for clarity, I believe this is a very nice stone massage set. I’m hoping the inability of my unit to reach the temperature of 167 isn’t an indication it’s defective and showing signs of failure. I was able to get a good massage from it at 130. The stones were warm and soothing and not too hot to handle. I love this set and believe it can offer many relaxing moments.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Good quality massage stones are perfect for hot stone treatment after a massage. They absorb heat well and stay hot for a long time. I also like that they come in a lot of different sizes to fit all around your back.

What a great way to have a hot stone relaxation at home. The stones are flat so they won't slide off.Hating is easy and any that aren't immediately used can be kept warm in the heater.I'm going to have to master putting them on that my back by myself!It's definitely a different feel than using a heating pad, much more relaxing.

Hot stones massage set comes with 16 stones and a digital control. The stones have several benefits like improve micro circulation and enhance skin nutrition as they're made of natural basalt. I like that you can adjust the heat to your preferred temperature. The bamboo stray is sturdy and comes with a metal plate with a cover. Instructions are detailed in how to properly use it. It has 5 different time settings (15/30/45/60/90 mintues) you can choose. It's easy to clean and it does take like 20 minutes to fully heat up.

I heated the stones in boiling water with a pot on my stove, which I assumed was to clean them. I then placed the stones in the heating tray with a shallow amount of water. After an hour the stones were warm (not hot), and they didn't stay warm long outside the warmer. Members of my family agreed that the stones don't hold their heat long enough. Even after setting the timer to the maximum time of 90 minutes, the stones never feel like they get as hot as the temperature I set on the remote. I have tried heating the stone with and without water in the tray. The directions don't clearly describe the proper way to use this product.

This was a nice hour stone set. I like that it comes as a travel set style to carry it around when you need it. The stone are uniform in shape so positioned the right size for where you need it was great. The stone retained just the right amount of heat I needed for use. And I could adjust it as needed for others as well.
