Osaka 77mm Multi Coated UV Filter Ultra Slim MCUV 12 Layer Coating

I am using it for more than a year found it reasonably good. You will find blueish hue on the glass if u hold it horizontally (at 180 degree) against a tube light which prove its multicoating. Multicoating is not only stop creating ghosting but also improve the quantity of light coming into the lens. You will find not to be worry much about the light/brightness or "stops".Cleaning the glass is a bit difficult as it may catch a scratch mark easily if u dont use a good microfiber and employ small circular motion. The outer hard coating which protects from scratch is not up to the mark.It is always better to use such protector not because it will provide protection to your camera lens but you need not to be worry to clean the camera lens. I never need to clean my lens as i always put the protector on it. You will obviously find very minute deterioration of picture quality but very minute.If u use protector without PROPER MULTICOATING the quantity of the picture will definitely be affected.The protector is recommendable.

The lens filter is good, It perform its job well but it is a little overpriced cause amazon is selling their filter for much less with better quality.Built Quality :-Built quality is better than average. You get a case along with it which comes out to be really helpful when don't want to use it. Till now i cannot see any scratch on my filter so, i think the quality is good.Performance:-The main function of this lens is to filter is UV rays and it perform its task well but i have the one from amazon also which perform better than this one and also it is cheaper than osaka so, on performance i will give it 3.5/5Value For Money:-I can say that the product is value for money but when comparing it with the amazon one then, amazon lens filter is a better value for money but these are also good cause you are also getting an protective case which comes out to be really helpful in carrying it.Photo Quality:-Always remember that using any filter (Even the best and most expensive one) will deteriorate your picture quality by 1-5% and this one will deteriorate your picture quality by 1-2% but the result which you are getting while using this lens is appreciable. I ordered this just to protect my lens (lol).I purchased these cause when i was looking for the filter at that time amazon one was out of stock so, i ordered these but these also very good , like you can surely buy them. I will rate this product 3.8/5.Overall, it is an decent product to buy which can perform its task very well

Osaka filter not up to the mark. Didn't expected to bes used product which i have received from seller. Also the inside box does look like new and seal pack, inside box was aldo tampered as well. Not happy with the product scratches all over the filter pics attached. Osaka not expected with this product.

Many company claims multiple layers ARC coating but were missing.This on got basic ARC coating.Few doesn't claim but functional, To my past experience even Hoya did not had ARC coating 30 years before.

A good UV Filter. Not too costly and it fits very well on the lens. you can put the lens cover on this filter itself so no need to remove it again and again.+ A must have, to protect the front element of the lens.+ Picture quality is almost same after putting the filter. Only a professional with 6-7 years of experience can tell the difference between pictures taken with the filter and without it.

Osaka makes two types of UV Filters. One is with less number of coatings and the present one with 12 layers of coating. In optics, particularly lenses and filters, the more the number of coatings, the better, as the optical image will be much better with more number of coatings. Even though the UV Filters do not really do much to an image and almost everybody uses them to protect the front element of the camera lens from scratches, dust and grit. So also, I got this filter to protect the lens of my Nikon D5200 camera. I chose this filter because I feel it will not interfere in my getting a good and clear image of anything that I photograph, thanks to its twelve layers of coating. Also, it is slightly cheaper than many of the other better quality UV filters but I feel that I will get comparable quality. One word of caution about all UV filters. Please take them off from the front of your lens when you want to take night photographs as they can cause an unwanted colour cast.
