Kase Master Macro Pro Lens Optical Glass Close Focusing from 40mm to 85mm Compatible with iPhone Kase M17 Mount Cases

I've purchased about 3 previous macro lenses for the phone and this one by Kase is clearly the best. In my pictures I show the back of an SD card and look how clear that print it is. I weas probably an ince or less away from the card, it allowed close focus that close! Amazing! I was only limited by the lack of light which is a common issue in macro photography. The lens is a little bulky for pocket use, although for putting in a bag, it is well worth it. I thought the macro on my compact cameras was good, this one is better. It throws off the balance of the phone, but that is a small price to pay. There is hardly any distortion in the lens and I love the caps this lens comes with. This is definately a keeper for me, and I am giving away the other macro lenses and keeping this Kase!

I love KASE lenses and filters and have over 10. Honestly, with the quality of phones now, this would be overkill. It's KASE high quality.

I can't say that this lens does a significant job of doing a macro shot over the standard iPhone camera. It does take slightly better pics but the benefit vs the size is just not there. It's quite bulky and not something you would want to just carry around. They always say that the best camera is the one you have with you. By the time you break this out and get it attached to your phone you probably miss the shot. Either way, it is well made and i guess it would give you a better shot in a controlled environment, so in that instance, it's probably worth it.

If you're into phone photography and loves zooming in to your subjects, then this lens is for you. It comes with clip adaptor but I suggest you get a phone case that has a 17mm screw thread for a stable mount. The lens is not small, it won't fit your pocket but small enough to carry around if you have a bag. It came with a protective cover for both the front and back lenses. The pictures came out great with fine details and clarity. It feels very well made. I'm happy with this macro lens.

This is a fascinating close-up glass lens for your iPhone, but keep in mind that you need a 17 mm adapter, which isn't standard on the phone, so you need a case that has this one that they do works, but I think the one that I have from another company also works just as well. As long as it's 17 mm, it is pretty big and bulky, so you can't keep it in your pocket or anything while you're using it, but if you want an excellent accessory for your lens to do some pretty exciting things and carry with you and use it whenever you need it otherwise take it off whenever you need to put in your pocket.
