Probably the most important book on fighting
Jack Dempsey's "Championship Fighting: Explosive Punching and Aggressive Defense" is an absolute *must* to anyone interested in the striking arts. The man really knew how to fight and even better - understood how to relay that knowledge in a clear and concise manner. Doesn't matter if you're Money Mayweather, an amateur mma enthusiast or even a karateka looking to expand your arsenal of techniques, you're gonna benefit from this book. In essence it's about the old-school simplicity. And basics win fights. Very easy to follow, very easy to replicate and just an interesting read too. High rec!

A Very Useful Book.
I have a interest in the English martial arts; in particular classical pugilism. I found this book to be very informative. It is written in a way that is easy to understand and follow. People interested in modern boxing techniques, might find the techniques described in this book out-dated. However, the techniques described are still relevant for self-defence and very useful.

Great Book!
I recently signed up for a 10-weeks-training White Collar Boxing match - my first Western Boxing competition. This book has felt like a treasure trove of Sage advice. If you enjoy getting into the nitty-gritty of techniques and tactics you’ll enjoy this book.

Learn how to Punch!
This book is an excellent starting point for any aspiring boxer or fighter. while nothing beats a coach or a trainer, It's always reassuring to have all the information you need at your fingertips. if you follow the advice in this book you'll feel safer in the streets, stronger in the ring and minor discomfort on your callousing knuckles for a few weeks whenever they enter water.
