was easy to install
The fan was easy to install in fit right in the spot of the old fan. Plenty of wire for the lights and fan control connections so it was simply plug n play.

Hit or Miss in Quality
I purchased 11 of these for my pc, their frames are well built but the bearings in them are very much hit or miss. Out of the 11 I purchased, 3 have failed so far, all in the same way, bearing failure. but the odd thing is, they all failed in the same orientation, at the bottom of my case, blowing upwards towards the GPU, idk if that orientation is putting more stress on the bearings but all the other fans are just fine

Great fan any way you look at it
The media could not be loaded. I replaced the top and bottom fans in the front panel of my LianLi LanCool II Mesh RGB with a couple W12s, and kept the LianLi in the middle. I put a 3rd W12 in the rear as the exhaust fan, and I really like the look of this setup. One of the benefits of these fans is how by simply rotating them 45 degrees you can quickly and drastically change your PCs overall aesthetic. The aluminum frames feel very sturdy, I would actually say they are the sturdiest fans I have felt. The shape allows you to use them in spaces that a traditional symmetrical 4-sided frame would not fit, such as cramped upper rear exhaust ports near the I/O panel, or where AIO tubing may require extra clearance. I was also able to use them in my front panel above and below a 140mm fan thanks to the extra clearance their shape affords. The fan blades are well built, without any flimsy edges or any wobble at their mount. One aspect of their design that I appreciate, which is all too often overlooked by most manufacturers, is the attention they gave to the appearance of the rear of the fan. The branding on the rear center of the fan actually flows with rest of the fans aesthetics and looks a million times better than the unsightly sticker that typically occupies this space. You can tell that thought was given to every aspect of these fans, and I recognize and appreciate it.The RGB colors are crisp and bright, and the light is well diffused through the blades. This is due to the arrangement of the LEDs, which was well done. Words dont do justice to their appearance, so you can see for yourself in my attachments. The motion patterns are actually cohesive and not just a random assortment of colors. I particularly liked the 2 tone effect that I was able to achieve.I tried the fans with and without a CoolerMaster Hub on 3 different MOBO: Aorus B660 Master, ROG Strix z690A, and AORUS z690 Master. I had no problem controlling the fans speed or RGB in any setup.*Remember that by their nature, most hubs dont allow individual fan control, so if you dont have enough headers, your best bet is directly connecting to MOBO and using splitter cables to section fans off into zones, 1 zone per header. At $20-$25 per fan, you are definitely getting your moneys worth. These fans are way better than others in their price point where half of their cost is due to their brand. These fans are a premium product at a reasonable price. My Zotac 4090 Extreme AIRO has not suffered any reduced airflow or increase in operating temperature since installing the fans.I would recommend these for anyone who values build quality and attention to detail. If youre looking for a unique and visually apealing fan that doesnt sacrifice performance, you would be hard pressed to find a better option than the ALSEYE W12.

I really like the design of these fans.
EDIT: FINALLY SOMEONE BROUGHT THESE BACK TO AMAZON. Needs to be at least a 3-pack available at a reasonable discount! 15 bucks x3?These are pretty killer in an open-air case. ARGB works as advertised with motherboard manufacturers, at least with my ROG Strix board. I will warn you though. Some of the reading material with Alseye stuff comes with some broken English in their manuals. Just bad translation and it carries over to their website. Outside of that little bity thing, they're designing some really aesthetically pleasing products.

Purely for aesthetics. NOT for water cooling performance.
The photo is my current PC with this fan not yet installed, I have to 3-D print another fan holder for my case before I get this installed, so it may be a day or 2, lol.As far as my opinions on the fan, this fan is great where you need to move air, but don't care how much necessarily, just SOME AIR. Such as in an open air case, but NOT on the water cooler radiator. The simple fact is, these fans, while amazing to LOOK AT, simply lack the static pressure necessary to perform well in a water cooling radiator. So they go well in a place where they can look cool, but not in a place where they have to move air against any resistance. An open-frame fan design LOOKS neat, but simple aerodynamics, a lot of the air is going to spill off the ends of those blades and go sideways instead of axially. And when you're trying to push air through a radiator full of densely packed fins, you'll find that MOST of the air generated just goes out the side, with only a small percentage making its way through the radiator. There is a reason, I suppose, why jet engines are enclosed, after all.By matter of fact, this fan produces at it's MAXIMUM, the same amount of static pressure as a Noctua NF-A12 on QUIET MODE. And there are quite a few 120mm fans that will produce more static pressure than an NF-A12, I just use it as a "benchmark".So it's great for what I intend to use it for, as a simple case fan to blow a supply of fresh air over the AIO and GPU. But please don't buy 3 of these, stick them on your AIO water cooler radiator, then scratch your head and wonder why your temperatures went UP. This isn't that fan. Trust me. I've been working on computers since the 8088 was a thing. I know a bit about fans, computers, and keeping them cool.Good for basic case fans.Terrible for water coolers.Double ball bearing construction is the only WTG, but time will tell how long they last. Love that the fan cables will "daisy chain" and love the built-in RGB interface, which hooks right to my motherboard, and will also "daisy chain".I love that they kind of tried to "re-invent the wheel" with this case fan, but, unfortunately, there are certain aspects of the fan that you can't re-invent. The fact you need tight tip tolerances between the fan tips and the duct, and close spacing between fan blades, to produce high static pressure, which is by matter of fact the de-facto requirement for a water cooler radiator, cannot be escaped nor re-invented. It is a physical fact of aerodynamic law. So, while I do recommend this fan for "plain old case fans", I do NOT recommend it for water cooling radiator use. In fact, this is probably one of the silliest choices you could make for a radiator. Ever. Just don't do it. In fact, if you go to the Alseye store here on Amazon, you'll see they sell a number of AIO cpu coolers. You'll note NONE of them come with this fan. What would I like to see Alseye do from here? Because they've shown a desire to kind of "stretch" here and think outside the box. I like that, but I don't like to see it at a performance DETRIMENT. I'd like to see Alseye come out with a version of this fan intended for water cooling. Obviously, it wouldn't be a "W" design. But I would like to see them continue the metal-frame theme, because with a metal frame, tolerances between some obviously more closely spaced blades and the fan duct could be extremely close. In short, I'd like to see a closed-frame, close-tolerance, high-blade-density version of this fan made that can produce 2.5-3.5mm / H20. That's what I'd like to see you guys make.I like this fan. Don't get me wrong. It has major "bling". Maybe even "bling bling". And it seems to be made well. But being cute doesn't make static pressure to push air through my radiator. So while I certainly recommend it for simple case fans, I do NOT recommend it for any water cooling duty whatsoever.

Solved a particular problem for me, but also surprised me!
So I grabbed this fan cause a regular 120mm fan with a full frame interfered with the hoses coming off my AIO's radiator by the tiniest bit. The fact this fan has the open side allowed me to have another intake fan & my AIO without any issues. I was kinda expecting these fans to more flash than dash, but honestly they perform really well as case fans & are surprisingly quiet! I doubt they'd work well in a situation where you need high static pressure cause of the open frame. For case fans though they push a good bit of air & look pretty good IMO, can recommended!

$25 fans fail waste of money
Way overpriced and I had all of them fail
