I'm one of the 7% who received a garbage battery. Was dead when I installed it, which is nothing to complain about, but it took 24 hours of charging to get it to 90% and wouldn't go higher. A system check showed the battery has insufficient capacity. My laptop went from 90% to completely dead in 20 minutes. You would think the manufacturer would at least test each battery before adding it to inventory. I got a good battery from another seller and it charges and holds a good charge, confirming the problem was not my laptop or charger.

Overall, I'm sufficiently happy with this Solice battery that I'm awarding it 5 stars. It came nicely packaged in a protective box, with foam, instructions, and even a couple of mini screwdrivers. The seller recommends this item as an HT03XL battery replacement, and suggests a few different HP models and parts numbers: HTO3XL L11119-855 Battery 11.55V/41.9Wh for HP 14M-DH0003DX 14M-DH1003DX 15T-DA000 15T-CS200 15-CW1XXX 15T-CS300 LPD1071 15-DB0004DX 15-DA0014DX 14M-DH0003DX 14M-DH1003DX. My client's laptop was actually from the DY series, but it takes the same battery as the models listed by the seller, so I felt confident ordering it. Installation was very quick and easy; the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the fact that the Solice replacement battery didn't exactly match the size and shape of the original battery from HP. The discrepancy can be seen in the area where the battery is supposed to slide into place (i.e. the "live" part of the connection, where power is transmitted between the battery and the motherboard). If you look at that connector, you can see a slight gap, where the metal pins are partially exposed, because the battery doesn't fit all the way in as it should. It seems to be working fine, so hopefully that won't cause any problems . I'll update this review if anything goes wrong, but for now all is well!

My laptop was only charging up to 79% and the battery draining within 30 min of use. The battery came in a cardboard box with all of the needed tools to replace the battery. The two screwdrivers are magnetic which really helps both taking out and replacing the tiny screws. The battery is a perfect replacement and went in super easily. The hardest part was getting the back off the laptop. Once in, I charged the battery overnight to get a full charge in it. The next day, it came on without any issues. It's been working perfectly and I'm able to get about 6 hours of use on a single charge. Great stuff! Highly recommend.
